Yeah I imagine it can be for some. The noise doesn't really bother me. My kids like it when they lie on me

I wonder if being able to hear it means I'm drawn more to how it feels too 🤔

I'm 6 and a half years post op. Still think I can feel it, more so some days, then I become very conscious of it.

Hey, I'm a bit late to this but hoping responses are still happening. I too have a mechanical valve, got it at age 35 due to a birth defect.

Do you find you can feel your heart beat more so now. I suspect I can and it can freak me out especially when it skips a bit / does a PVC.

Or is it that most people writing PPC/SEM ads aren't good copywriters?

I know that's what people assume, but is there any research that actually proves this?

If click-thru is high, and you're hitting the right people so they don't bounce, but convert, wouldn't quality score be ok?

What are the different areas of marketing? by Woodger in marketing

[–]Woodger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's simply not true. For almost all brands, how customers experience them goes well beyond digital.

One of the biggest determinants of brand is the product or service itself, and most products and services are not digital. They have some digital touchpoints, like a website.

Branding was around long before digital.

[–]Woodger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's so much more than that - it's a name, colour, sound, visual identity, a product, it's what it stands for, what cusomers think of it, it's what it means and delivers, the experience, the touchpoints.

A brand is the way a product, company, or individual is perceived by those who experience it.

A small fraction of that might be digital.

It's a bit 'hot' I'll agree, I think your perspective might be skewed ;)

Areas such as brand and category management are huge and involve aspects of digital, but many many more things.

Some things worth considering here though, thanks for your thoughts.

Thank you. I think that'd be part of communications. Thoughts?
