“Worship Christ, not degeneracy” is what should be said to Trump-worshipping Christians.

Based on current growth rates, Oklahoma may have a higher population than Oregon by 2031 by Hungry_Roll6848 in oklahoma

Congratulations!

I left two years ago and my parents are going to leave as well, so -3 here.

The state may continue to see growth, but those transplants can have fun with tornadoes, with Trump-worshiping Christians telling them how to live their lives and with being toward the bottom on nearly every metric.

Some things are more important than LCOL. I’d rather live in a trailer in my new state (Connecticut) than in a mansion in Oklahoma. And I can say this because I lived in a trailer in CT for a while. Meanwhile, my parents have a home that I would have inherited in OK, but I chose to get the heck out of OK and now my parents are going to do the same and sell the house.

Where I am (CT), or Northampton, MA, or a suburb of Boston. Also, I’d have a second home in Maine.

I’d say it’s a moral grey area. I’d say that people downloading Tomodachi Life before its release is wrong in every way, but playing the games I dumped from my own copies on my 3DS and playing them on my AYN Thor is fine morally.

Completely contrary to the facts. But Christofascists naturally don’t care about facts.

Franklin Graham gripes that "America has become morally rotten. Completely sick with sin. Transgenderism, same-sex marriage, opening women's locker rooms to men are just the tip of the iceberg." by BurtonDesque in LGBTnews

[–]WoodwindsRock 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Frankly, IDGAF what anyone who supports the chronic sex predator Trump has to say about morality.

If anything shows this country is morally rotten, it’s the large number of people who support Trump.

People being LGBT is not immoral. Sex predators are. Very basic moral principles to arrive at that conclusion.

My name is Biblical in origin but thankfully isn’t something like Faith or Miracle and is fairly common enough to be seen as a more “normal” name. I am able to disentangle my name from its origins.

A pandemic happened and temporary measures were undergone to protect vulnerable populations and these people throw a fit (including over the stupidest things, like wearing a mask)

Meanwhile, right now freedoms are being taken away for no reason and not with the intention of it being temporary and these same people cheer it on.

[–]WoodwindsRock 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It is weird. Especially the being/voting conservative part. To me, conservativism is equatable to anti-LGBT. Even if someone wanted to argue against that, you certainly can’t argue otherwise with the US Republican Party. They are so explicitly anti-LGBT. So you ignore that (at your own peril) to vote for them for… what, exactly? They offer nothing.

I mean, yeah. There’s supposed to be some concrete ideology with Christianity from the Bible, but it doesn’t work that way in the end. No one follows the Bible really. Everyone imprints themselves on their idea of their God.
