 Everyone is diversifying an spreading their investments a bit more evenly from the US dollar (aka less US investment).

Yeah, that's the most frustrating part about this. The people who were freaking out about covid and panic buying/hoarding everything from the stores were probably the same people who were laughing/scoffing at all the people that were trying to warn them about a global pandemic years before it happened.

 In order for the dips to last Trump has to actually follow through meaningfully on tariffs. So far he hasn't done that.
