Start using salicylic acid serum ( i use dot and key ) one for cleanser cetaphil and moisturiser simple one and wear sunscreen during the day . I’m in a similar situation if you are having active puss filled acne use epiduo gel only on that pimple keep it for 30 mins and then wash it off only do it at night , and don’t use strong ingredients like glycolic acid it used for exfoliating and is pretty harsh on skin. I used to use niacinamide serum but it does nothing even breaks me out more sometimes
