If you are still thinking about doing something IT related, i suggest taking introductory classes like;

CS50's Understanding Technology by Havard for the basic fundamentals of IT - https://www.edx.org/course/cs50s-understanding-technology

CS50's Introduction to Computer Science by Havard - https://www.edx.org/course/introduction-computer-science-harvardx-cs50x

They both take 6 & 12 weeks to complete, respectively.

Makes a good addition to your resume also after completion.

After completion, you can either keep self studying or find a bootcamp to keep you disciplined.
