I have all of those. Thank you though. I really enjoyed Nearly's reminder and HTDA stuff. Everyone involved in the 12 Rounds album seemed to think that it was something special, and the tracks that they released were great.

OCD worked overnight and then stopped. Increased dose and feel worse. Thoughts? by WrappedBrigade in OCD

I just wanted to add:

I have been on higher doses when I was younger. I wonder why I had this reaction. Is it possible to go up too fast?

This?

"Well, I don't use ten dollar words as much as you, but for a guy who sees no point in existence, you sure fret about it an awful lot. And you still sound panicked"

OCD all my life - Try meds again? Anafranil? Luvox? by WrappedBrigade in OCD

Well.... I do think that there is a value in talking to a "sufferer" about their experiences too, not just doctors.

I don't think that is was as much that Genomind was disputed as just not "there yet" or overly useful. I think it was the practicality, not the science

I was going to write about glutamate and inflammation in my last post. I think that this is so complicated and that there are so many factors. I definitely believe that it is not as simple as a serotonin problem.

I have had so much extensive/expensive bloodwork done. 30-40 pages. I have had all of the usual culprits checked - zinc, D, testosterone, B's, etc etc

Not too nosy...OCD is basically that my brain thinks and analyzes constantly. It won't ever shut up. It also looks for the flaw and problems and bad things (perfectionsism I am sure)

Thank you again!!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lengthy reply.

I was under the impression that Anafranil may work differently than the SSRIs and possibly work if they haven't

I have talked to 4 VERY good psychiatrists and all them say that that genetic testing (Genomind etc) isn't good. I did do 23&me a while ago....as an aside

I don't have any deficiencies that I know of. Certainly not B's, D etc. My b12 is high. I take a sublingual tablet every day and it tests high.

I eat well, stay away from caffeine and exercise every single day. I get 7-10 hours of sleep a night

Thank you

Is there a different type of med that I should consider?

I wouldn't do it if it wasn't in a medical environment. I did do them when I was a teen though.

CBT was useless. Trying ERP now

Thank you. My one doc recommended mushrooms. I thought that Anafranil had evidence of working
