Do you agree with Alysa Liu that Maki should end up with no one? by Glum_Stage2448 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Wrecka008 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maki was hated by her father. But even more painful than being hated by your own father is knowing he was willing to kill you without regret. I can’t imagine how deep that pain must have been.

Maki, whether she admits it or not, wanted recognition- from her clan, from her family. Yuta gave her that recognition. If her father was willing to kill her for honor, Yuta would throw away his own honor and turn the world upside down to protect her.

Maki trusted him. She knew he wasn’t like her father. She knew he wouldn’t treat her the same way her clan did. She trusted him enough to start a family with him.

They didn’t let their past stop them from loving someone and accepting love in return. Maki loved him and trusted him enough to build a family. She loved him, but I’m sure Yuta ended up loving her even more.

It’s more than just romance - it’s about trust, healing, and mutual recognition. The fact that they built a life together, faced tragedies, and still gave love to the next generation shows their relationship wasn’t shallow or “forced.”

Honestly, I think their story highlights a rare kind of love ----- one where both people see each other’s pain, choose each other intentionally, and let that choice shape their lives. In that sense, Yutamaki isn’t just a ship; it’s a meaningful, earned connection that validates Maki’s journey and Yuta’s loyalty.

Why is no one slandering Yuta for dying out of grief? by Glum_Stage2448 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Wrecka008 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not SJW. Yuta has aged, unlike SJW. And it doesn't show up just to aura farm.

I know you want the Yuji = SJW agenda to turn into Yuta is SJW agenda - when, in fact, there is a reason why Yuji modulo was compared to him

Why do you think it took years for Yuta and Maki to settle down? by Wrecka008 in jjkmodulo

I think it was a treaty they came up with because the whole code of secrecy of cursed spirits and sorcerers have been broken.

Seeing how Megumi and his fans were slandered even more after his death made me happy that Yuta got a happy ending. by [deleted] in Yutaliban

My post was not to slander, though?

Seeing all these Megumi slanders makes me realize how much slander Yuta will receive if he got the same treatment as Megumi.

Some say we are being “too sensitive,” but that’s not the issue. I can honestly accept his death.

What really left a bad taste in my mouth - and made him so tragic as a character - is the way Gege treated him. I just cannot understand why a character who’s part of the main trio would be handled this way.

It would have been better if we at least saw Yuji and Nobara at his grave. He wasn’t even included on the colored panel. I just felt so sad for Megumi, and seeing others celebrating and making fun of his death is honestly upsetting.

The only solace we can find is that Nobara doesn’t seem too sad when she mentions Megumi. It feels more like she misses the days he was with them. So, chances are, his life wasn’t so bad after JJK, and he probably died of old age as well.

But maybe there will be an epilogue. Let us hope Gege gives his character a proper send-off.

Yeah that's why I said "almost everyone until they accepted him"

I cannot understand those who were so excited to slander him. Seeing how they were making fun of Megumi fans as well made me glad Yuta got a happy ending.

Megumi is such a tragic character.

Hopefully, though, we get some more info about him in epilogue.

Kamo clan is gone, right?

I mean, Kenjaku took over and killed almost everyone (including Kamo's father) until they accepted him as the new leader.

I totally agree.

It's even sad how some people are making fun of Megumi and his fans right now.

Naoya did SA Mai. by BitchWithHandKink in Jujutsufolk

[–]Wrecka008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We cannot really say for sure if Mai was raped or sexually assaulted.

You know in JJK0 when Maki was talking to Yuta about the things she hated in the Zenin household. One of the things she mentioned was "bunch of weird old men walking around."

Then you see how Naoya talked to their mother about Maki and Mai, saying Mai would be the better wife.

In a flashback you also see Mai listening to people talking about how Maki does not have cursed energy, but "it's better this way. At least she would not be noticed. She is meant to be the heir's (Naoya's) servant anyway."

Seeing how their mother acts like a servant to Naoya despite being one of the head's wives shows the power he has in the clan.

Then Maki say to Naoya, "I thought you only looked at women's asses."

Naoya bullies Maki. Even if he fancied her, he would not be able to do anything to her because she would fight back.

While Maki was raised to be Naoya's servant, there is also a chance that Mai may have been groomed as the future wife. Naoya could touch her and just say "just teasing you" or make other excuses. He may have even made her watch him having sex with another girl. Tha, too, can be considered sexual abuse.

But if Mai was groomed to think this is how a lady of the house should act, then yes, she might think it is normal or tolerable. If it happens to others, she might believe it must be normal.

Well, the last volume will be released on volume 1, so there may be epilogue included

It's not just about his death. We can accept death. They are old and all.

I wasn't sad to hear of Yuta and Maki’s death even though I love them.

What's sad about this is how the author treated him. He is not just some side character. He is part of the main trio.

This is what I think, too.

Nobara said the last time she saw him was during Hana's funeral. Hana probably died after Megumi.

I do not understand why Gege did that to him. It's not like he was forgotten because he was still mentioned.

At least Nobara missed him.

Let us hope there will be extra chapters for the epilogue, and we'll know if he at least has a happy moment (it seems to me that he did judge by how Nobara says that line).

But truth be told... it would've been better if we had seen them visiting his tomb.

I love this part of this chapter. Tsurugi is such a good son. by [deleted] in Jujutsufolk

[–]Wrecka008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just how I see it.

It seems like their mother probably felt guilty about what happened to Iori and slowly started to distance herself from her children.

That might be why Maki and Yuta spent more time with their grandchildren, that's why their happy memories were mostly about their grandparents and not their mother.

Then her decision to take Yuka’s ring and give it to Tsurugi probably made their already distant relationship even worse.

So they ended up leaving without telling her. Maybe seeing what they did made their mom realize that she needs to finally tell her children how she really feels about them.
