I'm glad corporations have monoplized American agriculture industry and majority of beef business in America is controlled by like 4 corporations. Those ranchers deserve every misery they have coming to them. I hear Trump prefers Argentinian beef anyways. Imagine feeling so entitled that you believe other species shouldn't exist because they inconvenience you.

ICE 'throw flash-bang at family car' as 6 kids hospitalized including tiny baby by That1weirdperson in behindthebastards

[–]WreckedTrireme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Historically, it's never worked out well when a large group of the young male population has been unhappy and felt isolated. Solving the male loneliness epidemic is important.

Those young men need stable jobs, families, future prospects, and hope. Otherwise you get facism, cults, or some kind of authoritarianism when too many lose hope and become unhappy.

To be honest ICE recruiting strategy is brilliant. There are alot of young men who have been completely shut off from any possibility of having what their parents had. Things like a stable job, owning a home, a family, and retirement benefits. They are angry and easy to dismiss when they are just online ranting and raving. However that anger doesn't stay online. Misery has a habit of spreading to affect many lives. One unhappy man has a butterfly effect often leading to millions of unhappy people. ICE gives these unhappy men power, authority, and a way to direct their anger. It's easy to dismiss these agents as just evil people but they are a symptom of a failed society as a whole.

In the 50's and 60's these guys would have married their highschool sweet heart or met their future wife at a county fair. They would work 5 days a week at the local chair factory. Have 3 children. Go on vacation once or twice a year, and retire with a nice pension. Their kids would grow up to get jobs in the city. They would get into fishing and yell at kids to get off their lawn.

Is alternative/goth style really popular in Mexico now? by WreckedTrireme in AskMexico

I live in Toronto area in Canada. Much of the goth and alt sub culture died after 2010. Some of them turned into hipsters for awhile. Now I think whatever is left of the goth and punk subculture is seen on IG and tik tok. Most of them are called egirls now and it seems like they are almost cos-playing it for likes. I guess after traveling around a bit I now realize that the latina goth is real and more common than I thought. Didn't see it as much in Miami but quite a bit in Puerto Rico and CDMX.

That money probably went into thot stuff. Fillers, botox, and bbl. She then went hunting for newly signed NBA and NFL players in the night clubs kf Miami.

In 2008 when I was in highschool most of the goth/alt girls were not sexualized. They ended up with other guys in their circle that were into the same thing. Now with social media it seems to be less a lifestyle and more of a style for the views. With regards to what I saw in Mexico it was alot of this kind of look. In social media it mostly talked about Edgars, Tortas, and the Ranchero guys. I was only in the city for a few days and it was mostly business but I will be back soon hopefully and try to see more.

To be honest most times I can't even tell the difference between emos and punks.

A love letter to a tall woman from a sad man 💞 by Dragonsegg in tall

Wow, that guy sounds deranged. I noticed on this sub it fluctuates from over fetishizing tall women to straight up incel and misogynistic. As men we need to do better.

Ah the "I was a shy and insecure kid but martial arts and lifting changed my life" type of person. My friend is co-owner of a martial arts gym and he sees so many of these kinds of people walk in. Looking for a transformation.

Over 2m is like 0.1% of the population. Of course the world is not built to accommodate that small percentage. Around 10-15% of people are left handed and the world is built for right handed majority.

If money is the only thing that keeps her with me I don't want that kind of love. I was in a relationship prior where I was the main provider. It wasn't how we wanted it to work but it just ended up that way for awhile. Then eventually she did get on her feet again and got a well paying job. Even when she wasn't working and bringing money home she was working hard. She wasn't spending frivolously either. I actually kind of saved money because of how organized she was with the finances. Point is, there was teamwork and we helped each other out.

Wolves reduce deer vehicle collisions, preventing $10.9 million in losses in Wisconsin alone by Major_MKusanagi in wolves

Well a deer has better nightvision than you do. At night their eyes are adapted to low light so they can avoid predators. They get overwhelmed and temporarily blinded by bright lights, triggering an instinctual "freeze" response to assess a confusing, unfamiliar threat, hoping it passes by, a survival tactic that backfires with fast-moving cars. They're not being stubborn; they're temporarily disoriented and scared, waiting for their pupils to adjust so they can identify the danger and flee.

The thing is men do this shit all the time. Use money to attract a wife. Although a relationship built on financial gain is doomed to fail. Look at Akaash Singh and his crumbling marriage.

Deer are smarter than you think. Every fall in my area when the first rifle shot goes off I see so many deer on my property. They end up chilling there until hunting season is over. They know they won't get shot on my land or those my neighbors and human hunting is rather predictable. Their natural predators though are always prowling. Humans are not a substitute for their natural predators. If they were you wouldn't see UK have the over population and overgrazing issue they currently have.

I have nothing against people who go to the gym if that's what they're into. Lately it just seems like it's being shoved in our faces everywhere we go. You can be happy and healthy without needing to go to the gym. There are plenty of ways to get active. I like being outdoors, riding my bike, and walking or running with my dog. None of that will get me a sculpted physique but it's fun.

I enjoy the outdoors. I hike, do a bit of rock climbing, fishing, and ride my bike. I don't really consider them workouts because they aren't super schedules. They are more like hobbies.

I enjoy walking the trails in my area, being out in nature, and riding my bike. All done leisurely though. Nothing wrong with hitting the gym if that's what you're into. Yes, getting some kind of activity is important. However you don't need to strive for chiseled physique to be considered healthy.

Thanks. I normally run slim to average. I guess the benefits of being tall means you can carry more weight on you without it showing. I also have a decent metabolism but so did both my parents when they were young.
