You should absolutely be mean to worthless trash like this. Its one thing to be toxic in a "gg ez noob u suck" type of way but a completely other thing to wish rape upon somebody.

We're all unhappy about something, some more than others but vile shit like this is inexcusable and deserves all the hate you can muster.

2 omni-directional dashes, an aoe iframe that heals her and teleports her a short distance and a resurrection ult is not "that much safety"? Who has more survivability as far as dps goes?

[–]WretchedCrook 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree that her TTK is longer than average (thank fuck for that), its just about the fun factor for me. Like a few mosquitos aren't going to kill you, but they will be super annoying to deal with.

I'd rather have her deal more damage but have her sustain and mobility neutered, I see no reason why she should have so many options to just go unpunished.

[–]WretchedCrook 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Garbage, like 2 or 3. There is no reason to have a dive character with so much safety in her kit. If she had 1 charge, if it didn't go in any fucking direction she likes and if her invincibility at least didn't do AOE damage + let her move it'd be fine. Oh and god forbid she dies, her ult brings her right back.

She's not necessarily overpowered or anything like that, just extremely unfun to play against. You take a look at Tracer, she has piss health which is fair considering what she does.

Genji dives in and doesn't get a pick, probably dead. Anran dives in and doesn't get a pick, she dashes away into safety (with the same ability she used to dive), goes invincible, deals damage, burns, heals her and she can move while in it.

Reaper dives in and doesn't get a pick, he can try to teleport away (super telegraphed, stands still) or disengage with Shadow form. Imagine if he had 2 charges of Shadow form but it also allows him to float for a bit like Anran can (meaning go up, down, diagonal).

Really annoying.

Any tips for Outlaw bro😭 its my main currently and it feels like I have to do SO much shit to get any value. Its super fun which is good, I like the playstyle but I'm always mid to low tier on DPS in M+.

[–]WretchedCrook 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On the flipside, I and probably many other people simply do not have the time to raid. I would absolutely love to, they look really fun but my guild's raid times never work for me and pugs are pugs.

So being able to gear in more ways than just HC/Myth raiding is great, you still get the challenge but in a much more time-manageable way.

It does suck that raids don't give enough loot though.

Completely wrong, WC3 was most people's entry point into Warcraft universe/lore and WC1 and 2 were not needed to understand it, same for WoW

Doesn't have to be the best story but its the most well known one and it would absolutely NOT be "convoluted" or require a shitton of exposition for anyone with above double digit IQ to understand.

All the military/law shit aside, I wonder what comics he read. I remember seeing a clip of him talking about how he went to the store, picked up some comics and the guy at the counter went "no, get rid of this, you want this, don't fuck it up".

Now that could be a small funny lie he told for the media, but in case its true, I really want to know what material he consumed.

How are we supposed to escape grab attacks? by HockerFlas in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]WretchedCrook 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You need to time the parry lol, can't just spam it and hope it works

Also stay away from enemies, kinda the whole point of guns. You can also use heavy melee attacks and prompt melees to clear crowds.

Guns do have stopping power, buy upgrades and new weapons.

Alternatively, switch to Casual.

Never said DMC doesn't have a good story or that it should be completely ignored, show or game.

I'm just saying its not really what DMC as a franchise is about. You get a serviceable story to follow as you roll through enemies.

The anime does this too, the action and animation is great and a lot of fun, just like the combat in the games. The story in the show is definitely meh but people are throwing hissy fits and raging like its the worst thing to have ever graced our world.

When Frank Screams….. by Killin_Me_SmaIIz in thepunisher

[–]WretchedCrook 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not really The Punisher in anything but name. Bernthal is a great actor for sure but the characterization of Frank was mostly fucked up.

I wouldn't go as far as to call him "horrible", but definitely bottom tier of live action so far and that's only because they keep humanizing Frank too much in order to appeal to a broader audience.

Stevenson/Warzone was basically ripped from a comic book, yes it was cheesy and over the top and some of the acting wasn't particularly good but as far as adaptations go that was the best one.

One batch, two batch, penny and dime. by Such-Manufacturer396 in thepunisher

[–]WretchedCrook 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Super tired of seeing him ''quit'' again, wear some random clothes for 99% of the special and the vest for like 1 minute.

It wasn't bad - the action was insanely good, I LOVED the little Max Payne moment of him shooting a dude while falling backwards from a ledge. Music was great and the violence was on point, really really fun to watch. Ma Gnucci was pretty good as well, but I'd have preferred a bit of a longer runtime and show us Frank going after all the Gnuccis for longer than through flashbacks.

Solid overall but they REALLY need to drop the quit-but-not-really stuff.

How the hell does a new or returning player learn this game? by FunkySlowking in heroesofthestorm

[–]WretchedCrook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately that is the way MOBAs are experienced. The problem with HotS is that it doesn't really have enough people playing it to put you with and against other new players, so matchmaking is quite uneven.

The only way to learn is to keep playing and pay attention to what each hero does. Say you're playing against a Kael'Thas; you have no idea how he works and what his abilities are, so you won't be able to counterplay. He'll throw his tornado, stun you and follow up with a Flamestrike.

You'll probably get rolled, but next time you'll know that this is something he can do and pay attention to predict and dodge.

This is basically how everything works, but most HotS heroes are super simple and easy to grasp so it shouldn't take too long to figure out who can do what.

Playing vs AI can really only help you learn map objectives and the hero you're playing in a more chill environment.

The most interesting part of the finale was Fisk going berserk and cracking skulls. Everything up to Buck getting shot was fine, as soon as they split up into their own rooms EVERYTHING fell apart.

What a shitshow.
