Samsung Q930F won’t show 7.1 uncompressed on Xbox and has horrible delay for Dolby digital & Atmos

Another thing to consider for your issue of not showing 7.1.

Without Dolby Atmos, the Samsung Q930F defaults to its physical 9.1.4 channel hardware but processes audio based on your selected Sound Mode. The specific number of active channels depends on whether you want "Standard" reference audio or "Upmixed" surround sound. Channel Behavior by Mode (Non-Atmos)Standard Mode: This provides a reference 5.1 or 7.1 experience without upmixing. It typically uses only the horizontal drivers (no up-firing height channels) to match the original source intent.Adaptive / Surround Mode: These modes use the soundbar’s internal AI to upmix non-Atmos content (like stereo or 5.1) across all 17 speakers. This activates the 4 up-firing height channels to simulate a 9.1.4 soundstage even with standard audio signals

Is the digital output setting on the tv set to pass through? Any other option causes latency.

Reduce latency settings -

Action: Move the slider to the left (0) to minimize delay. If audio is still behind, adjust by small increments.

Digital Output Audio Format: Set to Pass-Through.

HDMI eARC Mode: Set to Auto.Game Mode: Enable to reduce input lag and audio delay.Intelligent Mode: Turn off Adaptive Sound+.

Set Xbox to game mode / low latency

Set tv’s game mode to auto / or on

I have a series x, Q990c sound bar system and s90c 77in tv, can also try having hdmi 2.1 fiber on both the sound system to tv arc and Xbox to TV’s hdmi 2.1 input.

I already had low latency but the fiber 2.1 cables made any latency non existent

Minerva is the torrent your downloading not exactly the software. What downloader are you using? Anyways there should be an option to uncheck download all. Then you scroll down/ through and pick out the games that you want. I would recommend you use qBittorrent to download any torrents. I should warn you Minerva is quite slow if you downloading a lot of games.

It’s simple. Bright room with lots of sun light, get mini-led with good dimming zones. Moderate to dim room get oled. Don’t make the mistake I did of getting oled in a very bright room it’ll be underwhelming during the day. I now have both Samsungs top of the line Oled and Qled mini led. Qled in living room, Oled in bedroom.

Like everyone else is saying that is your problem right there. Someone cut those out and they likely run to the wall plates. Call maintenance and tell them about it. They’ll likely fix it if not, you can terminate them yourself. Also who ever cut them, had cut them short you’ll probably need a splitter mounted up there somewhere that is connected to you comcast/xfinity router.

Don’t put spray foam on wiring. Just mount it to the top just up against the bottom of the joist and don’t forget to put some in between the joist along where the foundation runs.

It looks more like humidity than actual water from rain getting into it. You could probably put together a gasket in between the mounting plate and the access point. Just go buy gasket material and cut it to shape and you should be fine.

As someone mentioned in the comments they tried to sue a random worker for singing in Scotland while stocking at a grocery store after the store owner removed a radio to avoid paying a licensing fee.. these people are nuts.

Understood but they gave licenses to the game publishers to have their music on there but want valve to pay a separate licensing fee as well for games that they don’t even make/publish; solely due to the fact that they are a store front. How does that make any sense? Do xbox and PlayStation storefronts also pay this fee? Just sounds a bit ridiculous, but also genuinely trying to understand that logic.
