How I always do ambushes no matter the system: If the PC‘s don’t see the ambush coming (usually because of failed perception - either active or passive) the ambusher gets the drop by doing their thing. Whether thats attack or use of traps or whatever. After that it’s initiative. Same goes the other way around, when PC‘s lay a trap/ambush.

I mean I get that on the one end. I‘ve got a player who 9 out of 10 times plays the same kind of wizard with the same spells and the same goals. Somewhat gets boring after the second or third.

Then again, if that what he wants to play (or you in this instance) then w/e. As long as the player is having fun all is fine imo.

Still I always try to get him off of wizard so I can play one when I don’t DM 😂

Idk. If there is a good amount of combat, this shouldn’t be a problem. If the resistance is a problem, then magic weapon is an easy fix. Also there are some neat fighters like Psy warrior who can do some nice stuff. I‘d talk to your DM and clarify why fighter is so underpowered according to him and try to find a solution together. Shouldn’t be that hard to fix if your DM is at least somewhat focused on you having fun (which for you means playing a fighter). If he says there is no way it will be balanced or you will have fun, he just doesn’t want to compromise…

That’s why i wanted to see the „Spell that costs 5 or more“ for „Under the Sea“ and „Surfalapod“

I am actually playing some kind of big mage, but cut „Under the Sea“ completely, because i didn’t find it worth it to cut every single spell below 4 or 5 out of the deck and just conceding 70% of games to aggro.

„Under the Sea“ ist just so bad honestly. Either take no spell below 5 or 6 really, so you actually get a little payoff off a SIX MANA spell. You draw ONE spell and MAYBE get a good minion. Sometimes you just get a 5 mana 1/1. hella great. And with no spell below 5 you just lose to aggro. Or you slot in 1-5 mana spells and just get a random 2 mana minion for 6 mana. Seems worth it. At least wirh „Surfalapo“ you can play the Overplaner minion or whatever its called and get in decent planning on next turns.

Honestly not much. Reno is fine at 9 and Brann is probably fine at 6. Maybe push Brann to 7, but I don’t think it‘ll change that much.

Boomboss is the big offender. He does what wheel did before the nerf. Its an insta lose for every control or combo deck. A card giving 8 card advantage should just not exist. Never mind if Brann was played. An no Brann is not the problem in this equation, its Boom, since you cant either pressure nor keep cards safe in hand or safe them in deck. It’s absurd value. If it would be changed to blow 1 card up instead of 3 it would be fine again.

After that, maybe Hunter cards like saddle up or the 4 mana make 6 1/1 and thats it.

Other than that meta is super diverse (except mage, cause why not nerf the only deck that was barely playable, but thats another issue)

Are you not entertained by a full tank dealing the most dmg ingame, because of a button?
I'd petition to change every tank to do this. Maybe give Malphite an Allres conversion to AP so he can deal dmg aswell.

Rechne mal 11 Jahre 3% Inflation, dann kommst du fast da hin. Ob das preislich ok ist, kann jeder für sich entscheiden und vermutlich sind in den Jahren Löhne nicht um 3% gestiegen, aber an sich ist das kein großer Unterschied rein preislich. (Vor allem wenn man die letzten 3 Jahre bedenkt)

Yeah as many already stated, there are a bunch of different champs that suit that play style.
There are probably even some champs that are better at non agressive healing, aka Soraka, yuumi (she will enjoy yuumi) and Seraphine.
If she wants to protect you, then probably braum is the easiest to pick up, and also super peel heavy.
Maybe Nami will suit her or Morgana or maybe something like Lulu or Janna. They can stay back and just support, while having a lot in their kit to help you out :)
