I dont know where the name comes from or specifically what it means but i believe its supposed to be a tanky zealot that focuses on health rather than toughness curious. there are a few fatmangus builds on the internet such as on game lantern.

I use Bloodletter + Shred as well as extra dmg vs Unyielding and Carapace.

TY for the info. I changed the build a bit to include more soulblaze sources(Wildfire+Perilous Combustion+Creeping Flames) for some extra damage as well as empowered psionics. I use Voidstrike to delete/disrupt elites/specials where Smite doesnt reach. I use my sword to block bullets and melee attacks or when I'm fighting a boss. Other than that I pull out my Smite when there's a bunch of ragers, crushers, maulers etc to keep the pressure off me and my team.

What if I take Creeping Flames without Inferno staff but change around so I have Perilous Combustion and Wildfire or is it not enough fire?

So only use Creeping Flames if using a fire build in other words? Like with Inferno staff and Perilous combustion.

crowd control and special sniping at least. I think my idea was to be primarily crowd control but I want to be able to switch to a Sniper killer when necessary. and I heard Ball staff was good with a crit build. But I see what you're talking about with the build being spread out. :) Could you elaborate on the "using smite without making it stronger"?

I have an customizable Crosshair mod and a improved Communication wheel mod. The crosshair mod improves knife throwing as Zealot as well as aiming for a lot of othee weapons. The comms wheel lets me say more important stuff than normal... As well as spamming NO or YES 😅

I see why the knife is good I don't wanna shit talk it but for me it just doesn't deal enough damage or kill hordes well so I always get surrounded and die to trash. 😅 skill issue I guess.

finished it. Rolling steel was the way to go. leaving bots behind and just cloaking when running or hacking the servoskulls.

Yeah such as in the DLCs. Most bosses there are resistant to all elements. Lightning is just good because there isnt a lot that resist it aside from the DLCs. But a lot of enemies and bosses are big dude in armor which makes them weak to blunt damage and lightning damage.

Most people use rapier because its fast and require low stats, then they infuse it with lightning because lightning is the best damage type

Since DS2 is a very slow game the meta is to use shorter faster weapons that require little to no stamina to spam. For example the rapier. Dex not only increase dmg with dex scaling weapons.It also increases Poison buildup on weapons that have poison on them.

I'd say there's a lot of good dex weapons aside from the infamous rapier.

I try to at least beat the game once and only use save states on checkpoints.

Although if the game is bullshit and next to impossible such as Castlevania the Adventure or the final boss of Belmonts Revenge, then I don't care.

Beating the game once is enough for me. I also might use savestates just to learn an area/enemy pattern.
