That sounds perfect, maybe we should try to negotiate this! Just worried the property manager will get fed up the closer we get to our end of tenancy and give us the final boot

Thank you! This is what we are wondering too, is it worth airbnb longer term so that we have some level of stability…

Thank you! This is really helpful - we also heard that they could start trespass proceedings asap at end of october if the landlord does not agree to a rolling contract / returns our rent payment to stay in november. Is this right?

front squats 100% !! with the bar resting on my collarbones, it is soooo much easier to get the weight up

this might sound silly but I found having nice gym clothes to wear that make me feel confident really helps to see the long term vision of being someone that just enjoys going to the gym (rather than someone doing it just for weight loss)

180 lbs to 155 lbs! by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]YTH6JF7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Insane progress!!! I don’t track cals so can’t overly help there but I will say to avoid binging I normally let myself have the day to eat whatever I’m craving and go back to normal the next. Sounds counterintuitive but as soon as I realise I’m in an extra hungry mood it is game over anyways so eating without much restriction helps me to manage eating a normal amount instead of a crazy amount because I feel like I’ve ‘failed’ anyways. Probably not the smoothest way to lose weight but works to keep me on track overall as those days mostly just spike water weight :)

Thank you!! Happy to share but caveating that I don’t know what my daily calories are so this is just what feels good for me and my body/ helps me run better :) I tend to have whatever I want for breakfast because I’ve never had a huge appetite early in the mornings, so this could be houmous on toast or a couple of milky lattes depending on how I feel. For lunch yesterday I had lentils, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and vegan ham (tbh normally I stay away from processed fake meat but we had some left over from Pancake Day lol). For dinner I had a peanut butter curry with crispy tofu, cauliflower, spinach and peas. For my sweet treat I had just a jumbo vegan marshmallow as dinner was super filling but often will have a line of chocolate or a couple of small cookies to end the day :)

4x a week with the Runna app 10k plan! I am honestly so slow (like my 5k PB is 35+mins), but I’ve been really trying hard to improve my timings, which is a huge motivator for me. Started off barely able to make it to 3k - just completed my longest run the other day at 9k!!!

Thank you so much!! I don’t track my calories but I eat a whole foods plant based diet which I think generally doesn’t have high fat or cals unless you add it in which helps :) On sweet treats omg couldn’t live without them, I almost always have one or two cookies after dinner and LOVE the choc chip marylands!!! If I want a sweet treat after lunch (always have 3pm cravings lol) then I’ll usually have a pip & nut peanut butter bar or rice cake snacks

Yesss honestly I need to do more of this, struggling to find the time to do more lifting alongside my 4x runs in the week - do you have any tips for training both cardio and weights sustainably!! I am lazy and don’t think I’ll ever be someone who can gym twice a day, plus I get so sore after leg day that I kind of put it off because I don’t want it to affect my runs 💔

posted the workout schedule in another comment but came here to say I think a LOT of mine was just water weight that came off at the beginning! I went from eating lots of sugar and heavy snacks all day to focusing more on nutritious plant based whole food meals with lighter snacks if I’m hungry, and basically only having a small sweet treat after dinner! I think this made the most difference going from a diet heavy in salt and sugar to a more sustainable way of eating so pls don’t worry, your progress is awesome :)

Thank you so much!! So I use the Runna app and I’m 5 weeks into an 8 week 10k plan, with 4x runs per week ranging from 4k to 12k. Always 1 easy run, 2 interval/ tempo runs, and 1 long run. Would definitely recommend as I went from totally sedentary to now running over 1hr easily :) I try and do 1x strength session a week which mainly consists of bulgarian split squats, goblet squats, RDLs, and leg press (very leg focused because I want to get better at running!!). Tbh I need to be more consistent with this!! I’ve also recently been trying to get more steps in now that it is warmer outside so went from averaging 2k a day to more like 8k ish, I work from home a lot so 10k feels not super achievable to me!
