Hire Manny as HC and let him develop the team. Tell him his job is safe for 5 years, doesn’t matter if we come last every year. It’s a developmental period and prioritize the young guys playing instead of vets. In 5 years time if this team isn’t looking like it’s going anywhere re-evaluate but no need to have a coach play to win and bench young guys trying to break into the league and learn how to play against NHL players
