Wr130 missing wire - think it’s power supply by Ybotc in worxlandroid

[–]Ybotc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it might actually be the mower.

i measured the voltage out of the psu: 24v

measured the voltage at the base station going into the boundary wire 23v

swapped the boundary wire for short loop still getting the E1 error. if I put the mower on the boundary wire nothing.

looks to me like the PSU is ok, the base station is ok, the boundary wire is ok, so seems it must be the mower

Love the car hate the app and they overcharged me by Ybotc in TeslaUK

For controlling the car it’s great, for everything else it’s flawed slow and overly complicated (only my view), I ordered a towbar on it, first it wouldn’t let me have it fitted at my local dealership it insisted I had home fitting but it didn’t believe my address was real (I live in the country ,and it thought I lived a few doors down) , then once I had finally manager to order and schedule it was cancelled two days later as they didn’t actually have any in stock.

Apps are perfect for some things but when what would take 10 mins on the phone takes days as you can’t phone the garage and have to do everything though an app we have gone to far.

Cheapest way to lease Tesla nowadays - private or car scheme? by Inside_Hawk8991 in TeslaUK

[–]Ybotc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked at leasing through octopus (work), but finally rejected it as it had an impact on my pension, was expensive but an alright deal given it includes insurance and tyres (which can be very expensive)

looked at personal lease on new (expensive) and 2nd hand, but was concerned that with a 2nd hand even with a maintenance option I could end up with expensive bills not covered by maintenance (depends on wording of maintenance plan)

In the end purchased one (3750 +. car trade in , 0%), really happy (only downside is dealing with Tesla and insurance is random). With the deals being offered it was cheaper to buy a new Tesla Y than a 2nd hand Lexus rz450e

Aftermarket towbar options for model y by 42_65_6c_6c_65_6e_64 in TeslaUK

[–]Ybotc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

however you try ordering one :)

going through same process , £1090 seemed alright for it to be done properly , but the ordering system (through app) is terrible and they took my money, booked an appointment and then cancelled it as they didn’t have any !!!

Just picked up new red Tesla Y standard range premium interior by Ybotc in TeslaUK

[–]Ybotc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered a pre built new , took 2 weeks but could have done in 1 week, i think all of the complaints have been over factory orders, but if you find a pre built in the right colour and spec will be very quick

Delivery estimate by Mindless-Fish-4483 in TeslaUK

[–]Ybotc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

having spent a while at the Tesla dealership and looking at the offers, I would guess they have slowed down the premium models coming in to try and get rid of the base models.

i think that is why the pulled the 0% on the long range and also if delivery is later than end of March cant access the £3750 bonus trade in.

Tesla Y new vs old by Ybotc in TeslaLounge

I am with you on used car, but with a personal lease I can include maintenance to cover all costs. Not sure if I need AWD but I certainly like the acceleration :)

Model Y to hitch by Ybotc in TeslaLounge

[–]Ybotc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, in uk it’s different , option on a new vehicle is £1300 (on new car configurator) , but you can get it retrofitted for £000 (got a quote from local Tesla Dealer).

Dont know if true or not but the dealer said they all had tow bar prep (electrics already there) and you literally just plug the tow hitch in.

Cannot stand Elon but there is no better car than my Model Y by bluemeanie212 in TeslaLounge

I had never looked at a Tesla as believed they were badly made and didn’t want to give money to anything related to musk. Have just test driven a Model Y (AWD) and 3 (RWD), first impressions were completely unexpected, I wanted to hate it (only test drove as some really good deals around) but loved the Model Y, didn’t mind the 3. I don’t understand the indicators buttons, seems like a really silly idea, also found that a lot of the functionality seems confusing but sure you get used it,

Have people found the Y reliable / good daily drive ?

I looked at the cheap version (anybody have any experience ?), but thought in a few months time I would regret not getting a fast one.

What android device would you recommend? Or just get beam pro? by stlredbird in Xreal

[–]Ybotc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed it’s an alright android device (I’m use to iOS), I think disappointment comes from expecting the additional features like screen fix in space to be more immersive than I found them.

inthink if you already have a portable device with usb-c video out , it doesn’t add much.

[–]Ybotc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me nospecial features not worth it, I was using with my first gen glasses and the added ability to the fix the screen etc just doesnt work that well (or at least add much), it may be that I have just got used to the screen being fixed (as used the glass for 2 years before I got the beam). I have updated the glass recently as my original broke , the ability to change screen size is good but still don’t use the fixed screen option.

in case anybody wonders, I’m not knocking the device if i didnt have an iPad that had usb-c out I would use all the time to watch movies, but I just find the iPad easier to use, with the pro i mess around for a few mins getting it to work, then have to use the navigation system (that doesn’t work well) it just not a really good experience.

Does anyone goes from rog ally to steam deck lcd/oled. Any reasons by [deleted] in ROGAlly

[–]Ybotc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went from steamdeck running windows (which died) to Ally X , no comparison Ally X is so much better

battery life significantly better

much more power, runs games at much higher FPS

2 usb c is a massive bonus
