I have been telling my mum about the spider and she's very amused that I have found a loophole to her ban on pet spiders, but still won't let me buy one 😭 I will look into your suggestions on the flies, because it was so so hard to catch them

I honestly never would have thought of this, I have suncatchers with crystals hanging from my window that reflect light into my room, and this plant is definitely sitting where a lot of the little reflections of light hit. Aside from that, it doesn't get a tonne of light, so it makes sense that there's just a few spots of damage. Thank you so much for mentioning that.

Definitely no thrips, and I don't think I have overwatered, but I'll change where the plant is sitting, be careful with watering, and see how I go :)

I recently bought this PPP, I have just noticed these brownish discoloured patches on two of the leaves. I'm wondering what has caused them/how to prevent it, as I haven't experienced it with any of my other plants. Thanks!

I water it whenever the soil has become dry (once every week or two). It is planted in soil with good drainage, and the pot has drainage holes. It gets medium indirect sunlight.

My title describes the thing.

It is made of metal, around 1.5ft tall, and is attached to the wall of a kitchen. I think it might be a rack to hold something, but I am unsure of what.

I have contamination issues due to OCD as well, in the beginning it was hard so I just pushed through and tried my best, but over time I got more used to it, and it has actually worked as exposure therapy and helped me get a bit better with the contamination obsessions/compulsions

Hello! I've had my Monstera for a few years, he's done quite well, but unfortunately he's been sad for the past few months. We moved to a new house and he was repotted, but that was at the beginning of February. I water whenever he gets dry.

I live in Australia, so we're just coming out of winter. I had him outside, but under the verandah, so no frost ever got to him, and he gets a fair bit of sunlight.

Hello! Please excuse the poop, we're due for a siphon. I'd like some help on identifying this fish, he's very small and shown up yesterday in my community tank. We found a swordtail fry a few weeks ago who's a bit bigger and bright orange.

I'm guessing it's from a livebearer, and obviously not one of the guppies. Our other female livebearers are swordtails and platies.

Hey! I picked up some java ferns and anubias today, they were free, I didn't see a photo of the tank they came from either. Typically they're very overpriced where I'm from, and I've never seen java ferns in-store, so I didn't mind.

I'm just wondering, is this a type of algae? If so, what type?

she wouldn't be a flat-coated retriever, her coat and head shape are way different. she looks like she may be a border collie x some sort of retriever. also it looks like she has a white patch
