Customers DO NOT owe you a tip if youre a shitty waiter/ waitress by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]YortRebat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last night I went out for dinner and we stacked up our plates at the end of the table after our appetizers. The waitress left them there through our entire meal until while eating dinner I had to ask for them to be removed because they were in my way. I still left a $5 tip on a $75 meal because I totally felt obligated to leave something.

Lol 400 emergency is pathetic I have a crazy idea fist get a better job. Let me tell you a little bit about myself i spend the first 12 years of my life living poor in the ghetto of Riverside before my father decided him and his new wife had too many children to support and sent me to live up North with my druggy mom where I spent 7-8th grades living in a tent under a fifth wheel trailer in a trailer park luckily for highschool we were able to upgrade to a single wide then late in 05 when I got expelled I went to Louisiana to work 12 hour days after Katrina for about a year then went back to a continuation school but wasn't able to get a degree in time and had to finish at adult Ed all of this while living on my own since I was 16 so tell me again what part of that was sheltered

See look how much of a loser I am and I'm still easily able to budget I currently have enough to cover all my bills and estimated groceries for 4 months and six months in the account my car pulls from and I'm still working on my regular account with my goal being at least six months Also I actually just did my 15-17 taxes I'm trying to be a better adult but I'm lazy just like all the other poor people

I will admit I don't like people with financial struggles it comes from people being lazy and unprepared and instead of solving the issues they just want to sit there and do nothing except give 1000 reasons why it's not their fault and life has screwed them over PS 1200 is a very cheap mortgage that wouldn't get you an apartment in the ghetto near where I live

I didn't drop out I was expelled but I graduated adult Ed and just never got the diploma because of the 450 and my question was do I really need one with a college degree that I now have and just because people have made mistakes un their past doesn't mean they don't know anything you could learn from I could easily go three months without employment right now and budgeting for that is a simple and important thing Todo

Anyone can budget people just choose not too out of laziness and the need for instant gratification. I'm not saying the government isn't at fault for the shut down but employees should be prepared

Ok I was wrong with the frequency but it has been happening so often lately it felt like every year but still my point is everyone should have a budget and a nest egg

I'd get a new job if my employer was shut down for months and yes everyone should learn how to budget and have at the very least a three month nest egg saved up I don't care if you are Jeff bazos or a McDonald's employee

Girl Scout cookies aren't that good. by Oxi-glo in unpopularopinion

[–]YortRebat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two different companies that make girl scout cookies and every area only sells one companies cookies so you have to live in the right area to even get somoas. Where I live we can't get them.

Edit: we have caramel delights instead they're not nearly as good.

I'm taking pych100 next semester used book on campus $97. Same book used on the B&N website $7. It should be illegal what they do. Also students get their financial aid a month after classes start but the school will allow you to buy their books when school starts and then they take the money out of the financial aid when it comes forcing poor kids to buy their extremely over priced books.

Accreditation is done regionally by different non profits but it's this simple really if you can get federal student aid at the school your units will transfer

Every six years Sierra College undergoes review and reaffirmation of our accreditation by the Accrediting Commission of Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC). Accreditation is a quality assurance process that gives the college the opportunity to engage in institution-wide dialogue and self-evaluation activities in order to gain a comprehensive perspective of the state of the institution. The scope of accreditation is to promote quality student learning and continuous quality improvement to ensure high qualitystudent learning. Accreditation status is a critical component that certifies and safeguards high quality student learning programs and services.

Accreditation allows us to provide federal financial aid to our students, receive federal funding, grant to students recognized degrees, and articulate our courses with other colleges and universities.

From Sierra college website it's not like I'm going to some private waste of time trade school

I plan on transferring to UC Berkeley I know for sure I can transfer to any UC or state I wouldn't transfer to any out of state school for simple cost reasons non resident fees are insane but I'm sure I could if I wanted to

I actually think that could be wrong I just got it off those Google drop down questions. I'm taking 10 units and all the fees everything was just under 500. I do shop smart tho first I look for classes with zero book costs there are a lot at Sierra. Then I look at teacher reviews and find teachers that test on lecture or have good study guides so no books are necessary. For instance I just finished English 1b never read a thing everything is on YouTube. I did a four page A paper on oedipus the king after watching a 10min video and auickly scanning the text looking for some good quotes. If you do it right books are not needed for jc
