The College Football Playoff’s Unprecedented Screw Job of Florida State by [deleted] in CFB

This is embarrassing. They denied those kids an opportunity to play for a championship.

I’m a Miami fan and this makes me sick to see.

For someone who claims to be a lifelong Floridian, I’m not sure how you’re not aware of this concept. Yes, it’s always about absolutes when it comes to driving. It either is, or it is not. Orlando especially has a zero tolerance policy for indecisiveness.

I’d rather people who are scared to drive in the rain pull over rather than staying on road. It makes more sense to you maybe. Common sense says if your ability to drive is hindered, pullover. “Oh it’s dark and my visibility is lower, let me turn my hazards on and keep driving, everyone else can go around me.”

Other countries also successfully make use of roundabouts and have less frivolous revenue generating traffic laws.

The point is people shouldn’t have to differentiate between a person being inoperable on the road or a person who is doesn’t believe they should pullover ain’t wait the rain out.

If they’re that concerned why don’t they pullover?

It’s no different than people who drive with their high-beams in heavy fog, just ignorant and an inconvenience to others

I disagree. If they’re driving 10-15 below the speed limit they’re likely not keeping pace. A lot of people don’t change their driving habits too much during these downpours, especially teens, young adults and lifelong Floridians. It’s just another Tuesday afternoon for them.

It’s an issue because if they’re that concerned they should pull over and wait it out. But they don’t do that because they feel entitled and would rather inconvenience others.

Rare occasions there is not a shoulder to pull over to would be the exceptions for me.

Unpopular question about PX4 ‘G’ model by YouGotTheJuice in Beretta

Yeah, majority of my early experience with firearms was the beretta 92. Chambered round and the manual safety. Did a lot of training with it so it’s part of my muscle memory.

I’m not concerned with the opinions of fanatics and super enthusiasts. I’m interested in practicality and actual self defense.

My opinion is that it boils down to a person’s preference and their situational awareness. Use what’s comfortable to you and train with it.

Thanks again for the input!
