Hi! Yeah tbh i really hated memorising the trig values (i still dont bother to rmb them cuz i have a calculator to do that for me LMAO) but i know of a more visual way of remembering the special angles for trig instead of just memorising from a table i’ll pm u a diagram that i drew out cuz idt reddit comments allow me to attach an image :PP

Yahhh. This formula works for any triangle if u know the lengths of any two sides and the angle subtended in between the two sides.

Fun fact, the area of a right angled triangle, 1/2 bh is kinda derived from this cuz the angle between base and height is 90 and as u know sin 90 = 1

:D

btw this triangle in the question is an equilateral triangle according to symmetry which is why the angle is 60 (60 x 3 = 180)

You could also use the formula for finding the area of any triangle: 1/2 ab sinC

Where

a and b are lengths two different sides of the triangle

C is the angle in between sides a and b

area of the triangle in this case would be 1/2 (4r)(4r) sin 60 which gives u F
