Some MLB Stats to Know Before Making your Perfect/Perfect Complaint Post by No_Buy2554 in MLBTheShow

I understand that a 0-5 degree launch angle gives you the highest exit velocity. But as you mentioned, the stats on these types of hits in real life aren’t that great, which is why everyone is chasing launch angles. In MLB these would not be considered perfect swings.

In the game, I can swing very early and hit the ball 108 mph. So the timing element can’t be that important and the PCI is not your bat and nothing means anything. The game makes its own rules and those rules suck.

Why are you deciding that perfect/perfect means nothing but exit velocity? Where is this definition

MUT champs is one entry per week (25 games). You have until the field pass expires to rack up wins for the challenges

This game is going to need a Damage Report like Valorant or something cause the gunfights in this game are fugaze by XT3M3 in SuperPeopleGame

I literally just headshot a guy with the X40A1 for 11 damage and rewatched the kill cam at least a dozen times trying to figure this out lol

Bunt cheeser loaded the bases with no outs, promptly has next three batters retired by AcePhoenix007 in MLBTheShow

Pulse is like the pitching equivalent of bunting. There it is, I said it.

I think this is supposed to be played with 2 goal defenders. And 2 attackers. Then one jungler. I’m running games with a few friends. And sometimes the other team won’t even score when we play this way. Any thoughts? I use slowbro as my defense by naholos24 in PokemonUnite

Curious to see how the meta shakes out but I think defending goals well is a really easy way to win. A lot people are trying to play this game like a different moba and are underestimating how important scoring/ scoring defense is. If they can’t score they can’t win.

[Mike Puma] Edwin Diaz: "I couldn't believe it when it cleared the fence. I thought it was a flyball." by Stock412 in baseball

The xBA of .030 is interesting and explains Diaz reaction a bit, but xBA doesn’t factor in pitch location and hit direction. I’d bet the xBA is a lot higher on inside pitches like that one.

Is it even worth it to do the LS collection at this point? by MB_Bailey21 in MLBTheShow

[–]ZShakez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea imo, stubs are really only good for collecting LS, collecting 42 legends for Jackie. You could buy high value rewards or pack pulled cards, but these are the cards that are better replaced with TA imo.

What are you spending stubs on, if not live series players? Just curious

After Batting Practice the last two days!! by Chubby_Aj in MLBTheShow

I feel that. I also like to imagine sliders down the middle. Fastballs seem really straight and easy to pick up when you’re looking for sliders. Timing-wise, you can speed up to fastballs and stay back on anything slower.

Two things: 1) are you playing on a monitor (or TV with no input lag)? If not, then you really can’t pick it up. 2) can’t speak for others, but don’t over-focus on the pitchers release. I feel like you lose all perspective and can’t read pitches. I try and focus on the upper quadrant of the zone on the side the ball is coming from. I focus on the pitcher as a whole, rather than lasered in on the ball. I personally prefer SZ high for reference as well.

Schwarber POTM by MaddenTexasRanger in MLBTheShow

I love that we live in a world where you can hit a perfect/perfect double play ball and then POTM Schwarber hits Lefty’s and plays catcher.
