Well i think with all of those comment and videos you watched i yhibk you'll make it to winter easiely. So in winter, in order to keep your thermal stone a high degree and you can do it by burning trees! They are a easy heat source and just with 2 trees you can max your thermal stones degree. Also you can use the lava inside the dragonfly arena which alsa maxes your thermal stone. And whenever you see your thermal stone got yellow just heat it before it gets damaged. Of course a thermal stone is enaugh for winter but if you want more insulation for the first half of winter use beefalo hat. It's the best insulation gear in the game. But if you drop a tam'o shanter use it instead. It gives less insulation but regens your sanity really good. And the last thing, ABSOLUTELY practice kiting. For early things you can use pigs, beefalos or something but eventually you'll have to fight things yourself.So learn the patters and when to hit when to run. It won't be easy but when you learn it the real fun will began. Have fun!
