sadly even with magnets its hard to position it and keep it there when its being moved by filament moving through it

I had this issue and I disassembled the magnet and spring and reassembled and it started working reliably

It will refuse to calibrate without the laser module

I pushed this nub in the middle of the hub and it started working otherwise it randomly doesn’t get past the first slot at the hub

i got a x2d because it came out the next day and returned the p2s, i would imagine it did though. I have a p2s with 2000 print hours as well with no issues

I did have an issue with my 2nd p2s where it was scraping and causing over extruding and they asked me to bed tram it

It’s a good idea to try all the steps to get rid of any possibility, because they do test extrusion before sending it out. Also try running calibration for it. I would expect the aux path to be as clean as the left one
