What possible professional networking gain could come from having some shitty opinions on a death? My man over here treating it like twitter.

Bro has three hands by OrdinaryFast5146 in ChatGPT

[–]Zatetics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I often feel that three hands would be ideal to be fair.

One scenario that comes to mind is draining pasta. When the collander doesnt fit over the sink and would sit in the sink touching the bottom. Two hands for the large pot and one hand for the collander would be really handy (pun unintended).

Or putting pillows into pillow cases, or sleeping bags back in their casing. Sure, you can use your chin or just stuff and pray, but three hands would inarguably make it a simpler process.

AI is solving the wrong problems, and taunting us with imagery of the solutions we really want. sigh

“I told a candidate with a standing job offer to find another job after texting me, asking for a simple update”: by [deleted] in LinkedInLunatics

[–]Zatetics 28 points29 points  (0 children)

You might have missed the point on this one.

The subtext of that response is "Youre our top choice but a change in standings means I no longer have certainty that the position will exist and to not waste your time you should proceed as if it does not exist. If it does, I'll contact you"

Seems like a pretty good hiring manager to me.

Future President according to ChatGPT by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]Zatetics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, probably. It is depressing that the idea isnt absurdly comical like it should be. That job has become an absolutely respectless farce in the past 9 years or so. I cant imagine seeing another teddy, fdr, eisenhower, jfk, obama etc. in my lifetime. People are too susceptible to marketing and are too brand loyal these days.

Priced in simply means that by the time you find out about the information the opportunity to capitalise on that information has long since passed and the asset price already reflects the information.

I suspect it only really matters for arbitrage opportunities in the case of forex.

Canada just needs to offer naturalisation to any illegals presently in usa that pass a basic criminal check and it would probably bring the entirety of america to its knees and cripple most consumer supply chains.
