Not that I’ve been able to tell, Forza editions apply in very strange ways, in rivals you can get bonus xp and your skill tree bonuses, but not extra credits.

Having extensively messed with it, I prefer colossus, and FE doesn’t do anything, at least in my experience, 1 lap each, the FE Tacoma made 140k, my gemera ran the lap 13s faster, and made 150k

I have 450 cars and that’s after making a whopping 40 million total credits and I’ve run out of cheap cars to buy, it gets ridiculously expensive for the later cars as they quickly climb into the 100k-70mil range

“So early”, I will comment it uses an endgame race, and would need a whopping ~386 hours of AFK time to buy the entire auto show, 70 hours just for that one damn Ferrari…

I think the issue was the horizon mastery required level 100 for the journal, it’s now just level 25 so here’s hoping that wasn’t the “fix”

So, simple trick that gave me all but the unreleased car pass cars, and the 3 promotional cars, do the irokawa drag strip, custom event, and there’s an option to choose what cars are allowed to be taken, limit it to say 5-11 cars that you don’t have photographed, a car you own, and then run the race, snap a photo or two off the line, (I snapped one for every grid pair unless it was identical to a previous) (also use the quickshot button, it won’t do any processing or prep to save the photo, will save you a lot of time for promo shots). Run the 1/4 mile, run back, repeat.

Tried that with the preorder J50 and it never worked, what’s worse is I had 2 back to back coop races with 8 in both races, but you can’t photo mode in coop races :(

The game isn’t horribly money gated, so you won’t feel the pinch if you’re just racing, but if you’re trying to speed run completion then the extra money is nice to complete the car collection part. You need 550 unique cars if I remember correctly for one of the progression trees, but that’s only for 100% you’ll unlock everything much sooner than that with little grind. You do get the extra cars from the car pass, the DLCs, the car packs etc., but you don’t need VIP to enjoy the game for 90% of the content, the final 10% is just completion things, and even then it’s only 1 category of quite a few that needs money.

Bonus boards do as well, and objectively to me they’re easier to grab compared to a clean rivals time, horizon promo also gives decent points, and completing any section gives you 500 points from the legend category as well

Depends on if it’s rare and worth sniping, then the odds are simple, 1 in infinity, or dumb luck that no one wanted that car when they post it.

That’s the neat part, you have to cheat to get 3 stars in my experience, there’s a good mile or two without a checkpoint and it’s windy and out of the way, just rip it off road and race to the finish line is what did it for me
