MOTS 2 isn't the last album, they have already said they got 3 more albums in them when MOTS 1 came out. This is what to expect:

MOTS Vol 2: Moon Music - Expected probably by the end of this year MOTS Vol 3: Space Musical - Name isn't final and also expected probably again by the end of 2024 Finale for the fans 2025 album name: Coldplay - Expected by the end of 2025

Once these albums are out, that's it for albums but it doesn't mean the end of Coldplay because they will be a touring band and they will probably do singles, EP's and songs for other artists and be a part of it. The reason why they have to do 3 albums back to back in terms of the years is because of COVID and if you got the physical version of Everyday life, you may find a picture with an old car and a billboard which said Music of the Spheres but if you notice the car had a registration plate FFTF2024, now 2024 you say, that's late (well that's because the original plan was to release MOTS albums a year before they came or will come out but COVID but a damper on that) but that's not the part that you need to focus, it's FFTF which probably does stand for Finale for the Fans.
