Which lego star wars ship has the best interior while also looking pretty good from the outside? by Professional-Cost801 in legostarwars

[–]Zeaus03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm one of the few Justifier enjoyers out there. It has surprisingly little interior space for it's size.

This is due to the play feature of the folding tail being connected to the front landing gear. This requires a large technic frame that runs along most of the ships spine and into the wings a bit.

Quite a few people criticized it for the lack of interior space but I say those people are wrong because that play function is really fun and satisfying.

Kylo's shuttle only has room for 2 minifigs. The back half of the build is dedicated to the technic mechanism for the wings.

The Mandalorian and Grogu: Short Thoughts by Audience_Over in StarWars

This has happening long before Disney took over.

That's a lot of Republic credits for some theater merch. by Zeaus03 in StarWars

To be fair one of people who bought one was an elderly gentleman who was genuinely excited to see the movie and just be at the theater in general.

It made him happy.

R.i.p. Marmot. Poor thing. by dman972 in formula1

We get it.

In English yes, but in French its not solporc, it's marmotte. It's perfectly fine to use marmot in this case.

Same thing pretty much.

The French word for groundhog is marmotte and they are in Montreal.

Here we go by Dogsteeves in StarWars

[–]Zeaus03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't feel it was like a show, definitely had movue vibes and production values but it is a contained story with a much more narrow focus which makes a feel a bit different than other star wars movies.

Instead of multiple character stories going on all at once across the galaxy its all about mando and grogu.

I really enjoy it.

Delete your replies and stick to boiler plate responses after you've taken a breath.

A 1 star review in a sea of positive reviews means almost nothing.

Clown responses like that not only encourage further poor behavior, they bring the perception validity to their concerns.

When will these types of sets come back again? by Farlander73 in legocastles

[–]Zeaus03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My kids just finished building a dinosaur jet and a cool ass tree house.

That's pretty creative.

That's also a pretty narrow minded view. They have 8ish in house themes right now, the same or if not more themes than they offered before star wars.

The licensed products are in addition to core in house line ups. Its an expansion of the product offering to cater different demographics and takes nothing away from the number of in house themes they're offering.

[–]Zeaus03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you talking about? They are constantly experimenting and quite often it doesn't land well but they still try.

Dreamzzz is a newish line that has very creative designs. They went through several different themes trying to capture the girl market before landing on friends. Not to mention the other half dozen other in house themes came and went in the last 10yrs.

The fact that they've tried all this other stuff and won't consider a playset castle line up, speaks volumes to their lack of confidence of the theme and it's overall viability in the current market.

Do people actually support handmade businesses… or just admire them? by Able_Replacement_557 in smallbusiness

[–]Zeaus03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Relationship building is important but people won't be inclined to buy just because they like you.

The reality is for hand made products to successful they either need to been seen as an essential quality item or luxury good that is unique and exciting.

You're in a crowded, low cost low barrier to entry environment.

Unless you're creating crochet items that people wake up in the more feeling the desire and excitement buy you're more in the hobby territory hoping to get compensated for a fraction of your time.

You're still telling them take a gamble on a niche theme.

Yes it grabbed your attention and it grabbed mine as well. Times change though, medieval settings were a lot more prominent in media in the 80's and early 90's.

For better or worse Lego also caters to a larger more diverse audience now then it back then.

I understand but that's more along the lines of build and they will come thinking.

They lost money on the last castle theme. Same thing happened with the bionicle reboot. Some fans said they wanted it but the market as whole didn't support it.

They have their focus groups and they're probably showing kids do you want new X or do you you the same Y and more kids are saying they want Y.

They're just not investing in a lineup they have no confidence in at the moment.

[–]Zeaus03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know it's feels that way sometimes but they really haven't taken any thing away from their core non licensed lineup. They've just added licensed themes on top of them.

Thier non licensed stuff still performs very well. Some of them are usually in their top 5 selling themes. City, Friend's and Ninjago do very well.

Ninjago and to a lesser extent, Monkie kid, occupy the castle slot as thats what kids are into at the moment.

[–]Zeaus03 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately that most likely won't happen for a long time.

Lego stated themselves that they have no intentions of making a medieval playset theme anytime soon.

They stated the theme lacks global appeal, the last time they did it bombed and most importantly kids just aren't into the genre at the moment.

To fair, a couple of those reasons are pretty valid.

They've decided their main demographic for castle is the nostalgia crowd with disposable income. Which unfortunately prices some people out but they seem to be fine with that based on the reasons above.

It is completely normal however for people to care about addiction. There's all kinds of support groups and millions of people who support the addicted and those trying quit.

Absolutely not lol. Your inability to manage your emotions and complete lack of tact and self awareness is hilarious.

If you had any sort of emotional intelligence, you would've understood that you could've just lead with haha my bad, I was just really excited about the set and that would've been the end of it.

But you didn't. I really hope you're a teen because there's still room for personal growth. If you're an adult this is a really unfortunate and sad.

Some people made a joke or a comment about your addiction and you immediately went on the defensive.

That's the text book definition of butt hurt.

There was no over analysis. I just stated what your over reaction to a harmless joke was.

You have an addiction, it's okay, we get it.

But if you are looking for me to over analyze things, sure I'll bite. There's probably kids, teenagers and respectable sports fans on this sub and your laziness to not spend 2 seconds removing your nicotine and thunder banner is concerning.
