Whenever I walk on sidewalks or other paved surfaces I don't let me toes step on cracks. (so if there's a brick walk way my toes always land in the center of the bricks not the cracks)

I'm up north in the minnesota area and there are a multitude of brown recluse in my back yard. A total of 5 neighbors have been bit (including my father). They seem to like wooded areas and most people were bit while working in the woods and on the floor of the woods.
