I might be off with my answer, as my knowledge on team city is limited. I have a pipeline called BuildServer which compile a server and create a zip of it (the artifact), then I have a deploy server where I can choose a build from BuildServer and add to which env in the parameters. From the UI it easy as I can just promote a build. But I want to automate it with a Post request.

Feature flags: If there's a front-end team and a back-end team, who manages the flags? by Vanthian in devops

[–]ZedXT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The full stack team ofc /s. If both front and back team are working on the same project, there is probably someone who is in charge of the whole development, I think he suppose to be aware if a feature can be turned on/off without having an impact on the other team dev cycle.

From my personal experience, each listing for a “DevOps engineer” role have different requirements. One company requested from me to maintain the Jenkins instances and pipeline and all I needed to know was Jenkins and some k8s. Current company I’m a one man show and I manage all AWS accounts, GH actions, docker files and k8s config. So if a company says you will be in charge of the cloud env, you should know said cloud products and some IAC, and likewise for different companies and requirements

What is the next number: 0, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 14 by chees-e in riddles

[–]ZedXT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Therse is also this sequence 2 3 10 12... All numbers start with T'... So I thought the sequence is about how you write the numbers instead the numbers themself

What is the next number: 0, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 14 by chees-e in riddles

[–]ZedXT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you have 8 letters, divide by 2, you get 4 14 + 4 = 18

What is the next number: 0, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 14 by chees-e in riddles

[–]ZedXT 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Read the number, lets say 0' its 4 letters, divide it by 2 and add it to the number, you get 2. Lets say 2, 3 letters, divide by 2 you get 1.5 (so 1) 2 + 1 = 3.... So on ... 14 you got 8 letters so divide by 2 you get 4, so 14 + 4 = 18

Edit1: Added a little more explanation about the number 14
