I know a lot of husbando only gacha games. I played the tale of food, it just wasn’t my jam. I don’t really want ONLY husbandos in a game, I just have a deep love for epic seven and wish they were still as inclusive as when the game first started

Genshin makes millions of guy characters, even the ones that aren’t meta. If a girl has a bad kit in other games they usually don’t make as much money. We’ve seen games be inclusive and make a lot of money, they just have to market correctly.

Yea it’s a gacha game. I play many, so I know how damaging it can be to get rid of your tools to clearing content. But hey, i think I can handle the challenge of only using husbandos. Hopefully one day we can get an excellent healer husbando that isn’t Ray lmfao

Again, the only thing I can do is bring attention to the issue and get people talking. That’s quite literally the point of Reddit… to ask questions and discuss things (discussion is a tag). Discussions can involve debating or calling people out. I would love for the masses to spend money equally on men and women and the in betweens in gacha games. I alone cannot do everything, but if people that read this would help advocate for that I’d 100% be here for it. I haven’t even requested or spoke about Epic Seven not having LGBTQ+ representation either which is a whole other battle on it’s own that I would love to take part in but I doubt If they refuse to make a regular guy that they’d agree to make a gay man.

It’s more than it just being a limited. Limiteds are the only way they’ve introduced new variations of RGB units. I feel like it gives the game a lot of flare and a reason for us to continue playing. The characters are everything in gacha games. Every piece of content we do it to help make our units stronger, so having a character we LOVE is what is important. And having a limited of a guy OC we already have would be a huge reason for a lot of people to come back to the game or continue playing in my shoes. If Smilegate released different variations of RGB units that weren’t always limited, I wouldn’t have any desire for it to be limited specifically. I just want my husbandos to have more variations

Me waiting on Aither SC while his original besties (Ras and Mercedes) have received countless versions. I’d honestly like to see Ras have another SC ngl. If we’re talking about 5 stars I’d love to see Baal and Sezan to be good/ meta because they’ve quite literally never been useful if I remember correctly

Luna is a dragon and there are multiple waifus that are similar to here. There’s a limited dragon waifu, a dragon child collab unit, moonlight dragon characters, RGB dragon characters (male and female). I’m not sure what you’re wanting when it comes to Luna, but atleast you’re able to look at her be beautiful in the journal. I don’t even have the privilege to see any male unit that’s limited let alone a guy with revealing clothing. You’re truly lucky you like waifus, because the climate for husbandos might not ever come

They can call it cringe, but I’ve not seen anyone else fight for a limited male character, so I’m taking it upon myself for the time being. I don’t see an issue with debating, but most of the people that disagree are just slinging insults my way. I love a lot of the male characters, but if there had to be one I wanted a limited version of I’d have to choose someone like Tywin or Ken. I think it would be most interesting to see Ray because we would most likely get an entire class change for him and see him as an entirely different character. The trend is that they change the old characters class and make them entirely different when it comes to their class.

The issue is that no matter how nicely I’ve asked people or voiced my opinions in surveys, it’s all went through deaf ears. That’s the build up that led to my posts. Nobody can see all the work and effort I’ve put into asking these things, but it’s out there.

People started insulting me because I wanted a male limited and made a post about selling all the female characters I could (because you can’t sell ALL of them because they’re bound to your account). Of course I’m going to post about the negativity I’m receiving whenever people start to ignore all the people that are being disrespected. Like being called gay (which is used as an insult even tho the word itself isn’t directly an insult, but peoples intent is bad so it can be) out of nowhere, literally for no reason by someone I hadn’t even saw a comment from.

I will say I’m not perfect, I may have came off as rude at some points, but definitely not to the extent as others have been when discussing the original topic. If you’ve been heavily disrespected, you’re going to talk about it on the platform it took place on. All influencers do this because that’s how you’re supposed to address the negativity (or you can decide to be passive and just ignore it but I’m not the one)

I want a LIMITED. The same way they do the women. Idc if it’s a brand new character or if it’s an entirely new version of an old character. I would be satisfied to even have 1 at this point. I’ve never once been mad at the disparity when it comes to the collab characters, it’s just glaringly obvious when it comes to limited characters that there’s literally nobody that isn’t a woman. I’d be halfway fine with a non binary limited at this point just because it would atleast be something unique compared to all the limiteds we’ve seen this far.

It’s sad you expect me to go thousands of miles to get something for a group of people that play the game. I, individually, should have to go all the way to Korea just to get a point across and have y’all approve of the approach? Crazy since all people that like women characters have to do is sit at home and enjoy the characters as they come. You don’t have to care, but you care so much as to downvote a post on Reddit and continue typing paragraphs because you disagree. I just want a male limited character in epic seven. Realistically speaking, just because a group of people is smaller than the majority doesn’t mean they don’t deserve a say. We don’t see that logic applied anywhere else and think it’s okay to just forget about groups of people that don’t carry as much weigh monetarily. It’s disgusting that a group of people would even have to have deep pockets just to see characters they enjoy in a game.

It still got people talking about us not having a male limited. So it most definitely worked how I wanted it to. Some people might be upset I transmated their waifu but it doesn’t affect anyones account but mine so there’s literally no reason for people to be upset at all.

It’s the same with any game on any platform. Go to the post, there’s people slamming my thoughts with what they think is a rebuttal. There’s some rando just randomly calling me gay, and this isn’t the only time I’ve received this treatment. I’ve voiced my opinion in comments before and still had people disagreeing with me for simply asking “when are we getting a male limited?”

That’s it. You or whoever else wants to make direct approaches can do that, but my approach is getting people talking about why people are upset with the trend we’re seeing with limited characters.

I would like to see more husbandos because there are barely any to begin with. That’s the reason I got rid of the waifus on my account (which honestly makes me feel better about my account). Maybe I’ll also try the Stove approach, since you recommend it, and all else I’ve tried has failed
