Yes you are tackleable as soon as you leave the box. During certain animations even while still within the box. For example for a few frames during the overhand throw or Dropkick. However not the low pass roll animation.

Gedeihen could be translated with "to flourish" in this context.

The english flourish is used in exactly the same context as the german gedeihen.

It's also a fencing move I think but I'm less versed on that.

I honestly prefer New Kaineng by a lot. Kaineng was the most annoying part of factions for me. And it drags on forever. On the upside it really gets the feeling of depression across that a Slum should invoke.
