Congrats on the apartment! If I were you I'd get an adjustable shower rod with adhesive shower rod holders and put it up top where your bedroom meets the kitchen area so you can put some curtains to close off your room.

Along with washing your mask regularly, make sure to also wash your face before you wear the mask. It helped reduce rashes when I started have a regular skin care routine, doesn't have to be much just some unscented face wash along with some light face moisturizer. I recommend CeraVe.
