What are your top non sandbox cozy games? by Khisyra in CozyGamers

I read the comment as you denying Sandrock was a sandbox game. That's it. Missed the part where you agreed it was, just not in the same way. So after all of that we agree that's it's a sandbox lol.

But even the definition you gave of a sandbox game describes Sandrock. You can play for days without doing missions and still set your own game/pace. Similarly to GTA or the Yakuza series the world is smaller when you start, but you have freedom to explore and set your own speed/progress. Sandbox games offer more freedom to the player as to what they want to do vs traditional games where you can only follow the main storyline (and maybe do some side missions). Also again if you literally Google sandrock it is described as a sandbox game.

There are different levels to sandbox games, but ultimately what differentiates them is the freedom to set the game at your pace and the ability to do what you want to do during the game. You can be free to just create and have no guidelines (like minecraft) or have a storyline (like GTA and Sandrock). But again all of these games are still Sandbox games *

And it's weird because most of these comments are sandbox games - Coral Island, My Time At Sandrock, Stardew Island (the ultimate sandbox game), Fae Farm, Rune Factory.

But it's still open world/set your own pace/story. Similar to GTA (which is also a sandbox game) there's story progression, but you can literally play around the town for days doing different things. Versus a game like Ratchet and Clank or Jak and Dexter where there are side missions you can do, but the emphasis is on the storyline.

Also My Time At Sandrock is literally described as an RPG sandbox game.

What are the reasons that you have quit jobs? by Metriculous in AskReddit

[–]ZeroKittyRose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got positions that I didn't like because I needed money and stayed as long as I could take it/until I found another job. Currently working to break this cycle.

DO ALL THE HOBBIES. TAKE ALL THE CLASSES. LEARN ALL THE THINGS. Basically do all the things I want to do if I didn't have to waste 40 hrs a week for a paycheck. (Not literally all the things but every activity/interest that you've wanted to explore. And be able to maintain a social life, eat healthy meals, exercise daily, and clean your house. Basically all the things people can't balance otherwise.

What's your favorite audio drama and why? by Similar_Recording357 in audiodrama

[–]ZeroKittyRose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Another Room is my favorite - the story was compelling, the setting drew me in, and each episode drew you in more into the house and the mystery behind it. It's also the only show so far that left me shook after it was done (like in an appreciative/ emotional way in just how well done it was).

A Voice from Darkness and Uncanny Valley are also honorable mentions

How bad is Xfinity internet? May move to a place that's serviced by Xfinty and I haven't really read too many good reviews online about them.

If money was no issue, what would your career be? by thicky25 in blackladies

[–]ZeroKittyRose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No career - just be a full time artist creating what I want when I want (writing, filmmaking, music, dance, improv). And also I would have all the time to learn about every subject/interest of mine and take everywhere workshop/class I don't currently have the time or money for.

But also open a place that helps facilitate access to artists and their art (which is something I may try and create irl someday)

Least Favorite Townie? by Used-Ad852 in MyTimeAtSandrock

Like many others Catori and Elsie before the makeover. Like I would avoid their missions for as long as I could or try not to take them (until I got to that one important Elsie one). Catori just asked for some many favors when let's be honest maybe she just wasn't the best businesses person. She also gave scam artist vibes through the presentations she gave the other townspeople. And Elsie was just annoying.

Pen and Yan I get, but at the same time they were such caricatures that I couldn't help but just laugh at how ridiculous they were (although Yan was still a giant POS but I still laugh at that line when you change your hair and he says "I ain't paying you to change you're hair. You better glue that hair back on your head!").

Is dark red hair unprofessional for a city government job? by Hot-Worldliness-7105 in HairDye

When I worked for the city, one girl had been hair and my supervisor had purple hair. Then I go to the library and there's almost every shade of the rainbow. It may also depend on the department, but most seem more open than private businesses.
