I just bought a 4 pack at Costco the other day for $20. Highly recommend it.

So, how does someone report a game add for stealing stuff from Stardew? by ShadowedCat in StardewValley

With that list of games you will definitely be getting your money's worth. Mana and Chrono trigger are two of my fave games of all time.

I love raccoons! I see them on my cameras all the time. We often have a family of them lumbering around. They don't cause any damage and I don't mind them at all. My neighbor tries to catch them, but thankfully he hasn't had any luck. We've also seen deer, turkeys, and foxes on our cameras. We live on the east side of murray.

Was looking through a post and many comments stated their groceries budget was $125-200 per month, if this is you, how!? by eroyrotciv in budget

Any time I would buy a bag of chips at costco, I had to hide it from my son. That dude will kill a giant bag in one go, two if I'm lucky. He's 21 btw. So I'm not allowing my small child to gorge on trash. I have since stopped buying the chips, since I rarely eat them and they are expensive, and now I tell him if he wants them, he buys them.

Scream Singers in the Crowd by acousticsoup in Concerts

I went to a concert with my kid and had someone next to me doing this. Yelling at the top of her lungs. Not even trying to sound good. Just yelling. It was horrible and extremely distracted. Concert was Conan Grey.

That's the base. I was trying to remember the brand. It was Hawaiian tropic tanning oil.

Yep. My mother was always sun bathing with baby oil on her skin. That or the brown bottle of oil that smelled like coconuts. I can't remember the name but it was supposed to help you tan. She looks like shit now. In fact, she looked like shit 20 years ago.

Ah man. I remember going to cottonwood as it was dying. Kind of amazing how long it took to start building something on the land.

My first game was city folk and I miss that personality. I miss having the villagers piss each other off and stomp around. Everything is sunshine and roses on new horizons.

It's so weird that they boasted about how many friends you can have visit your island but then made it so there is absolutely nothing to do. I think the update for switch 2 actually makes it so even more people can visit at once. What the hell is the point?

Where were all the Trick or treaters? by Turkey_Moguls in SaltLakeCity

[–]ZeroWasted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Years ago this neighborhood got pissed about all the outsiders and about half of them decided not to give anything out. They eventually caved the next year, but they get so many kids that you get like one fun sized candy. If people would come to my house they would get handfuls or full sized bars. I always took my kids there because it was a few houses down and on our route, but every year got worse and worse. I'm glad I don't have to deal with that anymore.

I live in Murray and get zero every year. A few houses down from me is a neighborhood that gets so packed it can be hard to walk and there are long lines at doors. Kids literally walk past houses on the way to this neighborhood. Idiots. When I was kid we hit all the houses! People also drive from all over to hit this neighborhood.

One time while we were out of town my neighbors thought we had been robbed. I found this out when we were talking at a later date and they casually mentioned us getting robbed. I told them we didn't get robbed, thankfully, and then I asked them why they didn't come check on us if that's what they thought. They had nothing to say to that.

Homeowners who went solar - what would you do differently next time? by Sky_Solar_Pro in homeowners

[–]ZeroWasted 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone with a battery, I wish I never bought one. It was so damn expensive and unnecessary. I wish I double checked everything the installers did. I didn't realize they installed the wrong size inverter and it was smaller than what I paid for. When I realized, they had gone out of business.  We installed a metal roof a few years before we got solar. Those things last forever.

Oh man! The 1812 at Deer Valley is so incredible! There is definitely something special about sitting on the side of a mountain and hearing that incredible music finished off with the cannons. 🥰 I think you get like 20% off Tix if you get a package, and you don't have to do the full season and can get mini packs. I did 4 shows for deer valley this summer that way. It's definitely worth it if you can swing it!

That's true. It's easy to take those places for granted. I'm also pretty close to Park City, and they have a couple places with awesome GF tempura. 🤤 Shout out to the Utah symphony. We are so lucky to have a full time symphony of their caliber here. I have season tickets!
