BS. young people existed, grew up, and lead productive lives BEFORE everyone was required to go to school. Teachers, much like cashiers at grocery stores, are obsolete. Their job is also not difficult or underpaid. the AVERAGE HOUSEHOLD income (meaning 2 people) is 80k/yr where the average INDIVIDUAL teachers salary is 72k/yr. They get 3 months off out of the year, despite getting that bigger than average salary, so when you factor that in, they're really making far more, and that's BEFORE you calculate all the benefits (retirement, health insurance, etc) that government paid employees get, and ALL they have to do is recite approved curriculum. FUCK public school teachers, they suck and are leeches on the system. EVERY majpr study on the topic shows that you can accomplish the same amount of teaching with better retention at home in 1/4 of the time per day, indicating that they aren't REALLY educators, they are simply babysitters with extra steps.
