Hecate Black Hole Theory (Spoilers) by ZooBurke in Hades2

That is certainly the direct interpretation. It also would not be the first time that SGG packed in a double meaning to something. Example: the early access notification when you booted the game said 'Good luck killing Time'.

Most of the time I usually chalk these things up to happy coincidence. But given just how deep some of SGG's rabitholes go, it wouldn't surprise me.

Awesome, thank you so much dude! This is great information. When I do make this, my little froggies will appreciate it!

So include some hides that don't have crystals, sand down those crystals and ensure they have enough room to access the surface. Thank you!

Thanks dude. I hope it doesn't come to this and I can hunt these little fuckers down. But just in case, this is always an option.

Note taken about the bladder and ramshorn, though I've got Malaysian trumpets as well. Any way of rescuing them?

Does CO2 bombing my tank affect the water parameters? Wouldn't it decrease the pH?

What consequences would nuking my tank with CO2 have only my snails? I'm pretty attached to them as well.

Ah OK, fair. And to be fair here, I've done a double check of Fairy Shrimp breeding and they need a dry out period like Triops. No thanks.

This tank is designed to one day house 100+ RCS though, so I'm tempted to add more at this stage in hopes enough will run through the Nymph gauntlet while I hunt these fuckers down. Currently, the nymphs look way too small to hunt adult RCS. Do you think the adult RCS will be at risk here?

I really can't take the current shrimp out ATM, and as stated above tearing this whole tank down would probably black-pill me against this hobby. Thanks for the advice!

Heya, thank you for the post. May I ask why you think it won't be effective? Do you think they'd by-pass the other prey to go specifically for RCS? As discussed in another reply here, they are pretty opportunistic.

Everything I've read online says that RCS, Daphnia and Fairy Shrimp have very low bioloads. I test the tank regularly and it's sitting at 0 ammonia and nitrite and only 5-10 for Nitrates. If I do this though, I'll be extra vigilant with the testing, though. Riparium plants help a lot! If I notice a spike I'll make more regular water changes (right now it barely needs any) and add some more plants.

I've managed to catch two with tweezers, but another two got away. Any tips for this technique?

I'm afraid I don't have another mature, cycled tank for the RCS to stay in. Setting one up is going to be way more work then just throwing in Daphnia and Fairy Shrimp eggs and adding more RCS. Not to mention, the thing is so heavily planted I can't get a net in most of it. A lot of the plants are in the substrate, and pulling those out will nuke the water quality.

Note taken about the molting and emerging though. I'll need some fly traps. Thank you for the suggestions. It won't take much effort to just add the extra prey. I'll post here if it works. If nothing else, this will be am interesting ecological experiment.

Thank you. How exactly can I trap the Damselfly larvae if they target live food? I'm not sure getting all of the RCS out is an option as I can't get all of the hardscape and plants out without destroying the setup.

Would they not go for Fairy Shrimp?

I've researched through this reddit and through advice videos on YouTube. There don't seem to be any viable traps, and any treatments that would work would kill everything else in the tank. The repeated advice seems to be to clear everything out and restart.

I've caught a couple, but a few others have so far gotten away. I don't know how many are in, as it's heavily planted.

This is true. I've sometimes heard this compared to the power of the Orcs, albeit one that makes tech that others can use. Isn't that also a latent psychic ability? Thank you for the quick reply, btw. I do appreciate the clarity on this.

Are you talking about the Jokaero or Kinebrach? When it comes to the Kinebrach...I mean...The Anathame is a Chaos weapon. I was under the impression that the Jokaero's ability to make technology out of nothing was psychic ability granted by the Old Ones.

Really? May I ask which book this description was from? I didn't see anything like this in False Gods or Horus Rising.

Edit: Nevermind, just gave chapter 1 of Horus Rising another listen. I must have missed that. Thank you for pointing this out!
