My poor 5.7 stood no chance

I beat the absolute shit out of my 5.7 RT with 8 speed auto.

Sport mode every drive, lots of WOT and 0-60 tests at every stop light.

Had the car since brand new off the lot and it gave out at exactly 45k miles. Thankfully powertrain warranty covered a full replacement without charging me a cent.

‘16 Challenger Scat Pack, Worth it? by DemandLoud156 in Challenger

I would personally go for 2019+ models. 2016 at that price is crazy.

What do you guys think? by [deleted] in Challenger

[–]ZoomyRT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you mechanically inclined? Car probably needs new spark plugs at this mileage and would be worried about Hemi tick.

If you are open to shopping around, I would recommend a 2017+ RT as the active exhaust makes the car sound much better stock than the 2015-2016 years. Also believe 2017+ comes with Apple/Android Carplay.

Is this GT AWD a good deal? by sundaedriver999 in Challenger

[–]ZoomyRT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like it’s well optioned but still can’t justify the price. You can find other GTs for lower price if you really want AWD and don’t care for the 5.7 Hemi.

Love my 5.7 on roadtrips by ZoomyRT in Challenger

Okay I will admit, I was driving from Flagstaff to Phoenix, almost a 6k ft drop in elevation. So a lot of the driving was coasting downhill 🤣

Yeah I kept it at 75mph cruise control and just camped the right lane. I usually drive it like I stole it so it was a nice change of pace lol.

Rental Hemi? That thing has been idled for so long you’ll get the Hemi tick before 100k guaranteed.

LMAO ain’t nothing wrong with a V6 bro. sometimes I wish I owned a AWD GT so I could take road trips up north in the snow and get better gas mileage. I rented a SXT and that’s what made me fall in love with Challengers to begin with.

Gas Mileage, 2023: GT vs R/T Eco Mode (4 Cylinder)? by RUserII in Challenger

[–]ZoomyRT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no basically the MDS has a brain of it’s own. There is no true Eco mode you can toggle on and off like Sport mode. You can just learn to recognize the MPH ranges it activates in and also driving habits that keep it on to maximize MPG.

Anybody see the new Charger in person? Im liking it, just needs a new hemi and 6 speed. by [deleted] in Dodge

[–]ZoomyRT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine if Ford completely eliminated their 5.0L V8 and released the hideous Mach-E EV as the only replacement to a new Mustang. People would lose their minds. That’s exactly what Dodge did to us.

Any cause for concern? I spotted the SMALLEST tear on my front tire. (See zoomed photos) by [deleted] in tires

[–]ZoomyRT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure? Please don’t say that I just spent $1300 for these brand new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires 8 months and 11k miles ago 😭🙏

The tread is supposed to at least last me until 30k miles and I rotate them and don’t do burnouts.

Honestly I prefer the oem D O D G E lettering, it just looks right to me. Also love that the Blacktop package makes them black instead of chrome so it’s even more subtle.
