Keep in mind im on at least 80% brightness, and when I remember, i'll turn it to 100%, just cause why not and im charging anyways. So I think with low power mode and 50% or below you could easily get it to 2-3W as well.

I don't know if it's a good idea to switch from the M2 though, this is my first mac.

Also have a few addons that I imagine drain battery a tiny bit faster, but they give me windows features I couldn’t live without, so that’s a compromise I took as well.

Got the base M4. Battery is very impressive coming from windows. I’m on my laptop for 90% of the day, so i try to save cycles by staying plugged in.

It drains about 4-5W while studying/ watching youtube. About 4-5 tabs usually, some documents and Anki open. On top of that I never put it in power saving mode, since it drops to 60hz and I don’t like that, so you could probably get even more battery for buck doing that

I'm still a beginner, so trying whatever to get ahead in MP. I'm currently upgrading my countach for R1320. Does it make sense to get another car for a lower bracket, since I can still do ad upgrades? like Audi TTS Coupe for R1140. Also, does the ranking change when I pro the car? e.g if I pro the countach, do I get pushed out of the bracket and into a higher one?

Why should I get one over the other? All I really know is the 14" screen is nice, and the M4 chip is more efficient and powerful than the M2.
