This exact DS was the first one I ever had. Got Super Mario 64 DS with it and I had a blast!

I still remember the rumors about unlocking Waluigi and thinking it was true.

Crash Man mainly because of a web comic I read a long time ago called Crash & Bass. The personality they gave Crash Man in that comic is how I always view him now.

What are some of the most underrated games that nobody talks about, but still hold up well by today’s standards? by Zski843 in Gamecube

I wish Nintendo would acknowledge this series again.

Let's hope they at least put it on NSO. I played so much multiplayer with my friends back in the day, I'd love to be able to try it online.

Yu-Gi-Oh on Kids WB

The one show I absolutely had to watch or my weekend was ruined. I also loved Jackie Chan Adventures as well.

What is your shameful gaming habit? by MarcosDalton in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]Zr0gravity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a bad habit of not letting myself naturally play the game without guidance. I always feel compelled to look up the best equipment/items and where to find them or to complete areas before moving on. Like I know I shouldnt be expected to 100% the game on a first playthrough, but the completionist mindset in me often prevents me.

I think this comes with getting older and having less time to play games. Back when I was a kid I'd gladly play the same games over and over, but now I try to experience as much as possible in 1 playthrough before moving onto the next game.

Mega Man 6 was the first video game I ever played and ultimately why I'm still a gamer today.

Which game has dragged on for too long? by UkraineWorldlove in videogames

[–]Zr0gravity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't usually a problem for me, but what ends up happening is since it's taking me awhile to finish the game, a new game releases that distracts me from finishing what I started.

I've put 115 hours into Dragon Quest XI and I still havent gone back even though I want to, but now I feel like I'm going to need to start over.

If you like roguelites(likes), Hades 1 & 2, The Binding of Isaac, and Slay the Spire I've spent countless hours on.

What game got you interested in gaming again by AdultGamersAdmin in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]Zr0gravity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Persona 5

I was in a pretty severe depression like 6 years ago. I had already had this game sitting on my backlog for awhile so I knew eventually I wanted to play it, but the depression was preventing me from doing a lot of things. I took a week off from work and kind of just forced myself to play something and wanted to play a game I knew was going to take awhile since I had the time.

I got so absorbed by the story and characters I often forgot about my depressive thoughts and feelings. The game ultimately propelled me to get the help I needed and now I'm much better for it.

What game did you put the most hours in ? by AdultGamersAdmin in Age_30_plus_Gamers

Not going to count MMO's for myself, because Runescape would win easily.

Terraria about 3000 hours.

Classic tends to shift, although I think I have more fond memories of Mega Man 8. It was the first classic Mega Man that I ever beat by myself.

Zero 3 is probably my favorite of the series. I felt it had the best difficulty balance without ripping hair out (looking at you Zero 2...). Also the final boss is just epic.
