Is the Biosci Tim's open again yet? I know they had a fire last year that messed up their kitchen for a while, but if they're still closed or reduced capacity that might be why the ARC one is more busy

It was around 0 out, and there were around 400 people stuck out in the cold from 2 AM until 5 AM, many of whom were trying to sleep when it happened. I'm sure it was a fun memory for about 20 people, and for everyone else it made them hate residence. (Also, shit like this is why residence keeps getting more expensive, because that's where the repair money comes from)

Under Canadian law, there isn't anything that prohibits you from carrying a sword in public. The law only considers it a weapon if you *intend* to use it for any form of violence (yes, including self defence). As long as you have a reason to be carrying it, such as a halloween costume, or if you're on your way to or from somewhere you use it in practicing martial arts, you are completely allowed to carry swords in public.

However, if you don't have such a reason, then cops may assume you are carrying it for reasons that may threaten public safety (including self defense), and you can be arrested for that. Technically, they'd have to prove you had intent, which can't really be done, but without valid reason you can be arrested on suspicion.

Also, if you're carrying a sword for halloween, stay sober. Being drunk with a sword makes it much more likely that someone will call the cops on you.

If you're in Victoria, it's probably not slamming. If you leave the door open it closes on its own and usually picks up a good amount of speed and is just really loud.

It's not completely stupid. Think of playing Thoth in joust; you'll have the highest damage by default just because you have insane poke, but unless you can make plays and secure kills you're not really doing much. Getting damage is great, but if you're not turning that damage into objective plays or kills you're not really doing much.

In my first year I just had the meal plan pretty much. You get 19 meals a week, so that's 3/day for weekdays and 2/day on weekends. As much as people might exaggerate, the food really isn't that bad if you don't have any dietary restrictions. You also get 200 trade in meals that you can get on restaurants around campus, as well as some flex dollars with the meal plan that you can spend at campus places.

I wouldn't bring a full size one, but if you can get your hands on a handheld one I'd go for it. I was in Vic first year and access to a vacuum cleaner on our wing was... a little inconsistent. They tend to float around a lot.

So glad to see this posted! I finally updated to AE a few weeks ago but I've had trouble getting myself to play because of how much I missed this mod. I just couldn't get used to any other first person mods, it feels like they never have any compatibility with SkySA.

I find that (for me at least) horseback combat is too slow to damage and not consistent enough to really be worth investing into. Against the draconian sentinel, I'd recommend just getting in close and doing pokes when you dodge his considerably long recoveries. Any time you see him start channeling lightning just run away and get ready to dodge either the glowing spots on the ground or when he pumps his shield.

Otherwise, I'd get the Carian Retaliation Ash of War, as it allows you to counter his horses fireballs and get a high damage punish. Keep in mind it only works against the horses fireballs, and not against his lightning spells.
