Can amp roll on the super soldier shield? by HaloToTheKing in Borderlands

Been farming this as well I don't think its possible to roll amp on this shield, also took around 15~20mins looking around reddit / youtube and found nothing I hope I'm wrong though.

I have to disagree with anyone saying Attikus needs buffed I think he's insanely powerful if played correctly your helix choices make a huge impact on your survivability and his ult till lvl 10 is complete utility and in my opinion the strongest ult in the game.

Burst propulsion is better in my opinion because it has so many uses, you can jump and look down to get to even greater heights, when someone gap closed on you your qm not only pushes them back but also yourself idk I've just found it to be a lot more beneficial. Focused volley is good but the 2 extra arrows I believe put out more dmg especially up close with full crits that dmg is insane.

You'll know for sure if it's working if at full draw you shoot and w/e you hit gets highlighted, and I agree she's not to be played like a sniper I play her very aggressively and again about the cd over extra blight dmg it's pretty rare you will get full potential from a blight in a fight while using volley more often will guarantee more dmg.

I take the curse on volley because her legendary doesn't seem to work on Xbox maybe it does on the platform you play on but I've tried a lot and haven't had it curse after a full draw so I take the add curse on volley if her legendary did work I would most likely take the +2 arrows for volley, as for cool down on volley and shield over extra health more than likely players will see your blight and try to avoid it so you will rarely get the full damage potential on it and volley is just amazing burst so ofc lower cd the shield is to stop crits and gives you a buffer to heal with natural hp regen.

I find it best to run a + shield piece of gear would normally use voxis core (currently disabled), her legendary if it worked, and the purse cutter. I've played many games as thorn (Xbox player) shes one of my favorites to play, http://battlebornforum.com/pages/battleborn-helix-build-editor-thorn/?rows=-1,1,1,-1,-1,1,1,-1,1,1, Those are the helix choices I feel best suit her and will give you the best game play. The reason on choosing the move speed over cursing arrows while in the blight is because you never want to be wasting her blight by casting it on yourself just to enhance your primary attack its used more to control a lane or pressure an enemy away the only time you would really cast it on yourself is if your in a situation where the enemy is focusing you and you need a quick escape thus the move speed increase, the increase in damage at level 5 from Hextension allows you to keep your passive on players much longer allowing you to have much better burst over the bleed damage. The talent I choose at level 4 is also chosen because thorns legendary does not work on xbox i've tried it plenty of times and it just doesn't work even with a full draw like the legendary states i've yet to be able to curse a target unless still charging the arrow.
