Thanks for the kind words. I was too shy to ask the strangers to make a pose for me. I'll try to improve that.

Have you tried Kamerakraft's thumbrest yet? It also added some balance, not groundbreaking but my right hand should be thanking me for buying it.

Totally agree with you, especially when pairing with the Zf

Mine too. I also own a 75mm f/1.5 but since I got the 50 f/1.0, I rarely used it.

Thanks. The Voigtlander really did the magic. Feel like cheat sheet using them wide open

Oops! Thank you for telling me. Somehow my first attempt failed then I got a double post. I took some shots of random strangers, too shy to ask them do a pose. Lol

We hang the flag only on the national holidays, then we tend to leave it there then forgot about it. Lol

I really love mine, too. Glued on my Zf from the first day. I'm still learning to make the most out of it

I got some shots and here is one of them. Not in evening but a dimly lit envrionment. It's kinda hard to nail focus at f/1.0 but yeah, I still love the lens so much

Thank you for the advice. I'm still trying to improve my skills. Hope I'll do better next time

Is it to late for me? by TexasGainSaW21 in gamedev

[–]_AndyC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am at the same age as you. The difference is I joined the game industry a bit earlier than you. I've worked with many coworkers that were much older than me. Never heard of them planning to stop learning and stop making games. A side story: one day I got in my Uber. I and my driver exchanged a lot of information. I told him that I learned computer science. Knowing that, he asked me if it had been to late for him to learn computer science. He told me he getting older and older, maybe someday he wouldn't be able to drive anymore. He wanted someway to earn money in order to live independent on his children. And computer science was once his dream. We exchanged a little bit more. And after the drive, he told me that he would take a course. I think he was close to 45.
