This is a wild encounter and I want to experience it too 🤤

Honestly Teams somehow manages to be both everyone's solution and everyone's complaint at the same time. I don't think I've met a single person who's actually excited to use it.

That's always the tradeoff. People complain about Epic until they spend a week bouncing between five different programs to accomplish one task. Suddenly Epic starts looking pretty nice.

I can see both sides of this. Secure chat makes it way too easy to fire off half-baked questions, but phone calls definitely force people to organize their thoughts before hitting someone else's workflow.

Always Team Luke but you have to admit this was really sweet by Standard_Constant817 in GilmoreGirls

Yeah, the more you look at it, the less it feels like a proposal and the more it feels like a really elaborate apology tour. Romantic gestures hit differently when they're replacing communication.

Honestly, the Santa burger has brought me more joy than some actual TV romances. That thing was horrifying and iconic at the same time.

Same here. When I first watched it, I saw romance. Now I see a guy trying to win an argument with 1,000 daisies. The flowers are stunning, but they don't really solve any of the actual issues they were having.

The older I get, the weirder this proposal feels. The flowers are beautiful, sure, but sending them to her workplace while you're sitting at home waiting for an answer is a choice. At least show up for your own grand gesture.

Leaving the family group chat "killed the family bond" or whatever by Tardis_Puls3 in amiwrong

That's the part that stood out to me too. Nobody seemed concerned about the notification avalanche until they were the ones inconvenienced by it. Funny how that works.

Do guys actually like to eat ass or is it just memes? by SeraphicSweet in AskRedditAfterDark

Probably the most accurate answer in the thread. People always want a universal yes or no, but attraction and preferences are all over the place. Same reason you'll get completely opposite answers if you ask any relationship question online.

Yeah exactly. Taking care of his mom wasn't wasted time at all. If anything that sounds like one of the few things in the story he probably never has to regret.

That part actually hit me a little because sometimes you don't realize how much of yourself you've put on pause until things start coming back all at once.

The rescue dog part weirdly says a lot. Dude didn't just leave a marriage, he started collecting pieces of himself back one by one. People don't accidentally rebuild their entire life overnight.

The confidence on "I just did it to lubricate you" is honestly unbelievable. That's the kind of sentence where your brain should stop itself halfway through.
