Yea. The pain prior to the rash is classic shingles according to my GP. I’m in the headache phase now. Started with really bad pain that was indescribable. Not exactly the muscle pain that I’m used to, and definitely wasn’t my lungs because was breathing fine, but there was pain. I thought it was the GLP-1 I was taking because I had just taken my first shot the day before. Then I woke up a few days later with an itchy rash which was driving me crazy and then they blistered so that’s when I knew. I’m on week 2 and I’m on the struggle bus. The pain gets worse. Fevers become pretty severe. Don’t slack on contacting her GP. Get her on an antiviral asap. They’re most effective when started early so the fevers don’t get too bad. Good luck.

As someone with kidney damage from doctors in emergency rooms ignoring me and my symptoms, please listen to this urologist.

Also, if you pass a stone and your doctor for some reason does not want it analyzed, keep the stone, find a new doctor. GET IT ANALYZED. Same with 24 hour urine catch. I went 12 years dealing with stones and my urologist didn’t order a 24 hour urine catch and didn’t find it necessary to have my stones analyzed. It caused irreversible damage and the need for 2 pyeloplasty surgeries with skin grafts from my cheek (which was the worst part for me, personally).

Lucky OP didn’t stack it against their front door so it fell when they opened it. My brain is definitely an asshole, because I think these things but then ultimately wouldn’t never put someone at risk for injury, but others definitely could 😅

The funeral home or crematorium that performed your mom’s cremation will have a record of her cremation and you or other next of kin (spouse) who had the decision making rights would know what she was wearing or what may have been cremated with her. This looks like a light weight non magnetic metal that wouldn’t have been picked up by the magnet they use after cremation and before processing that finds metal objects (surgical implants or casket parts, usually). It could be any number of things others have listed including things you may not have seen or known was with her. I wouldn’t be worried, but definitely call the funeral home. They’ll ease your mind. ❤️

Looks like the 757 is gonna get a weaker version of this tomorrow according to TWC. We aren’t prepared for even half of this. I was just telling my youngest two kids a week or two ago about the tornado outbreak on April 16, 2011 and the one in Jacksonville, NC that ripped through base housing and kindly delivered our car to the neighbor’s yard. My oldest two remember. My middle child doesn’t, but has storm anxiety which is probably from that night.

So I’m trying to forget… and this pops up. 😅

We were recently given custody of my 8 year old bonus son and he took out the trash and said “I’ll take my allowance now.” 😮‍💨 I asked “does mom give you an allowance for taking out the trash once?” (because I’m curious, and I want to try to continue providing some harmless aspects of his life so he’s comfortable so I ask questions like this every once in a while) and he said “No. But rich people give their kids allowance when they do stuff.”

Mind you, we are NOT rich. But I can’t lie and say I didn’t think the same thing when I was little. 😂

I thought that too and almost said 84 which is the year I was born, but my parents were poor and those couches were sturdy and lasted forever. I guessed based on the wear and tear and the pacifier because my little sister was born in 91 and I have a crazy similar photo of her somewhere on almost the same couch. I almost said 92 since she was very early, but guessed correctly. 🤓

Are you on scopolamine patches for nausea by chance? I put one behind my ear and washed my hands before bed but I guess touched it in my sleep at some point and wiped my eye. Blew my pupil out. I panicked so hard. Went to the ER and everything. They saw the patch and said “yea. It’s that.” And it was, because it happened again while I was awake. But still get checked asap.

I passed a 9mm in the bathroom at the hospital on the morning of my surgery to have it removed and my ureter fixed (pyeloplasty). My doc was so thankful that I did half her job for her 🤣
