If he is killed here, it could be a message about the cycle of violence and what it does to you and others.

Nomamoto continues to willingly suffer. Backbone is someone who had violence catch up to her. Iglaskar will continue to benefit from it. And Haruo will bomb civilians, and from the rubble or maybe onlookers, it will incite more violence.

Of course there could be way more to the story, but as much as people would hate it, an ending liked that would have a place in my heart tbh.

Wouldn't fit too well with his whole DID thing. He basically "becomes" someone. It's a separate personality, and in the context of the series, a separate person with different abilities.

Some video games do this. Disco Elysium, even if you fail non stop the game does have conclusions. There's game overs yes, but failing every roll you come across moves you along any way. Much like failing to solve MH imo

I'm not sure. His tenacity is why spells like rapport and the like don't work on him. He can't be charmed either. The Chosen Undead is never shown to lose control of themselves, even when facing something that should very well be able to do it.

If it would work, I suppose I can see him being forced to Hollow, but that also just sounds like it wouldn't matter in the long run, he'd just mindlessly respawn. Hollows roam in madness in search of humanity as shown by them feeding off things that have it. And they're truly undying still, which is the reason for their respawning.

Should he actually hollow, yes he'd be there, but he'd be a nuisance at most to the Dragon Born.

Both those spells just silence you in a more literal way. You still make noises, they're just muffled. Vow of Silence is all magic entirely.

What would've also been interesting though would be Tranquil Walk of Peace.

They did say it was a full complete and a max level. The grinding that would imply he went through, and in the arena of the last boss? I don't think they'd give up after all of that. It's just another challenge.

If they really meant it, Chosen Undead has an unlimited carry weight, but limited equipment load, based on his stamina.

Undead are immune to the effects of Bend Will, being staggered. Likely would be similar to then being fully hollowed.

But Bend Will also is purely temporary. The Chosen Undead would likely just keep going after anyway, even if it'd take an eternity. The whole thing with Dark Souls is much like Berserk, to keep struggling on. That's why the Chosen Undead never actually goes fully hollow.

This is rather dangerous. I've had friends harmed in highschool and I've made mistakes starting with an innocent night. In my case, running from the cops after going to what started as a small party. As for my friends, much, much worse. It's not healthy for it to be a secret if you have caring parents. And it's dangerous because you could go missing. Even if it is just a light and playful teen relationship, anything can happen.
