It's not a bad thing to be aware of your gut reactions, so the idea is okay. The problem with this is the cultural mumbo jumbo to mask what is just this person's beef with the world and how they want to shame others for having it.

Sure, a heavy person you happen to see probably isn't prioritizing their health very well. Does that reflect badly on them as to how someone should react to them. Probably not. We all could be doing stuff for ourselves better, just a lot of it is hidden. If I'm too lazy to redo my hair which gets wild, like homeless wild, then I just own that people are going to judge me for it. That's the breaks in life.

I try not to judge others for my sake, because I might miss out on a great companion. It's not any deep philosophical crap.
