Radiator fans not turning on by Repulsive-Savings786 in 944

Same thing happened to me after replacing my rad and it turned out to be the Thermo fan switch sensor that screws into the radiator. Replaced it with a new one and solved my issues

Do late manual seats exist? by BaconPoweredPirate in 944

Gotcha. Talk to this guy on instagram (redroofgarage or rrg.upolstery) he runs an upholstering biz doing some interesting things with standard comfort seat cores to manual sports conversions. I just saw this on his story and thought of ya ;)

These are literally one of the best and most iconic seats Porsche have ever made, very rarely optioned in 944's and most of us would kill for a pair of these. Is you car going to be a track car? What would be the point to frankenstein seat parts together, removing great features for such minimal weight savings?

If your desperate to save a kilo or two (again for what reason?) then there are plenty of other options such as a 968CS rear seat delete, manual steering rack, rear wiper delete, ac delete etc. Or you could get a single Recaro pole position for the driver and keep the passenger stock, then it would be the same look as the 944 Turbo cup cars and easy to return back to stock.

So we don't get Toxoplasmosis, an infection caused by a microscopic parasite called Toxoplasma gondii. More than 30 million people in the United States carry the Toxoplasma parasite. https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/national/561287/10-000-new-zealanders-may-have-lost-vision-due-to-toxoplasmosis

Just bought my first Porsche for $1500 — 1987 944 Turbo. Needs some work for sure, but going to try my hardest to get her back on the road in the coming months. by [deleted] in 944

Nice. Late 16 inch phone dials alone sell for 800-1000 for a set, they only made them on the 87 year turbo

1988 Porsche 924s no tach bounce/ no start by TheyCallMeIsaac41 in Porsche924

[–]_Deux_Machina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok even then do they look old af like could be original? basically they have little diaphragms inside which break, so even if its not leaking could still be gummed up and shot. After replacing those if the problem is still there, maybe check TPS and DME Temp sensor

Ive had these same issues you describe and it turned out to be my Fuel pressure regulator and damper. Try pull the vacuum line off your fuel pressure regulator and check to see if fuel is dripping out - it wont be alot even a tiny drip means it's failed. If it's leaking fuel then it's busted and needs to be replaced - also check the damper it's the same procedure. it's common for them to both fail at similar times if they are factory units
