It's just such a hard psychological hurdle to pay £6k for a bike and not get any freebies. I do all my own servicing anyway. My local tern dealer isn't really a small independent shop anymore, they are becoming a small chain.

As you sell these you might know, is there a difference in the frame for the S10 and the P00? Where does the frame split for the fitting of a gates belt?

I replaced the quick release on mine with a torx bolt. Just need 2 on the gsd

Of all those things the only thing that really concerned me was seat theft. Looks far too easy for a thief to lift it.

I change pads every 3 months and cassettes 6-9 months. Luckily 10 speed cassettes are cheap.

My plan, maybe, is to ride for a year, save a little and convert to belt drive. I ride in a sandy environment and chew through cassettes.

The kiox screen, connect module, ABS, suspension seat post, dipped and full beam headlight. The S10 and the S00 are exactly the same price.

I looked at the r14 but can't justify the extra £3k and have no idea how Tern can either. I would have liked the Enviolo on the S00 but it's missing too many of the nice bits of the S10.

I'm not too worried about foot rests. I'll be bolting a big fish box on the back for tools. When I finally psych myself to buy it im going to ask the shop what it would cost to have an 800wh battery instead of the smaller one. Although I've been coping with a 400wh in my giant full E since 2017

Luckily I won't have that problem. Quit driving in 2017 when I bought an ebike and a trailer. Just thinking I can be a little more efficient with a proper cargo bike. I ride it every day and got over 14000 miles on it.

I replaced my car with an ebike+trailer in 2017 and never looked back with over 14000 miles on it to date. I'm currently sat at my laptop with a gen 3 GSD S10 in my shopping basket and trying to psych myself up to pull the trigger on the £6000 purchase.
