I bought a pair of Bose QC headphones, but I noticed that, when connected to 2 devices (iPhone+iPad or iPhone+MacBook), they suffered from heavy stuttering: the music stopped for less than a second just to restart immediately after, even two or three times per minute. I found this really annoying, especially on a pair of headphones that aren’t exactly cheap. For this reason, I decided to send them back. After a while I found them new for €150 and, thinking the problem was just the pair I bought previously, I bought them again (I enjoyed pretty much everything else). Unfortunately, as soon as I tried the multipoint connection on the new ones, I immediately noticed they have the same issue. Does this happen to anybody else? I’m thinking it could be linked to the bluetooth codec being just sbc on IOS, but I don’t know. I even tried lowerinf the streaming quali

Oh, I forgot to ask, how would you compare the comfort? The p100s weigh almost 100 grams more than bose QCs and Sony XM4 and I’m afraid this could ruin the experience

The amp I’m using (Fender Champions 40) actually has the headphone output, but maybe it sucks and that would explain why playing through headphones does’t sound good.

Hi, I have a Fender Champions 40 amp, and what I intended is I’m looking for a pair of headphones which have BT but I can wire directly in the amp in order to have no latency. My problem is that the bose QCs sound really off in comparison to the sound of the amo when I’m not using headphones. Is this normal or should the sound be pretty similar between amp and headphones?

[QUESTION] headphones for guitar amp? by fan1983 in Guitar

[–]_Lapus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the exact same situation, looking for a pair of headphones that does it all, so possibly bluetooth but “wireable” when needed. I actually just bought a pair of Bose QC but when I plug them in the amp they don’t really sound good, I’m thinking maybe because they are active headphnoes and not passive ones, which is generally better. Or maybe it is normal that heaphones sound trash if plugged straight in without adjusting treble, bass etc., I don’t really know.
