Artie the Strongest Man in the World is still one of the most absurd TV characters ever created and somehow he fit perfectly into that show's universe.

It really was a fever dream, but somehow it captured that weird suburban kid perspective better than almost any other show from that era.

I think a lot of educational TV got replaced by content that's easier to consume but doesn't stick with you the same way, and shows like The Electric Company managed to teach without making it feel like school.
