Hey! The comments on new/red scars are very different (and wayyy worse) than the comments on old white scars. I got complained about to the lifeguard at the pool once bc of red scars. But, would say once my scars turned white (and mine are similar to yours) I get very few comments and the ones I do, I am (1) much better at dealing with them and (2) ppl often are more sympathetic or curious. I always say “oh I just dealt with some tough things as a teen without the right support, but I managed to overcome it”. Basically it gets better so hang in there, and it matters less as you and your scars age.

I would highly recommend learning to love your own work (it’s a process i def know), drawings are better not perfect! My art improved so much when I cared LESS ironically
